Great light therapy box for a reasonable price. No problems at all with timer, brightness. Lightweight, portable, simple and easy to use.

Bright

My doctor recommended I get one of these lights to help my mood during the winter. This one is a good size and easy to use. However, I find it very bright even on the lowest setting. I may be extra sensitive though. I’m still using it and so far so good.

Be sure to see the dimensions. It is small enough to tuck in most purses or bags. It has 4 brightness settings. The brightest setting is pretty bright. There are timer settings from 10 - 60 minutes, which is a nice feature. If you turn it on while you're getting ready in the morning, you don't have to worry about whether you turned it off or not as long as you use the timer feature. I took one star off as it's missing a couple features that many therapy lamps have these days. First, you can't change the shade of white. Many start at around 2700k and go all the way up to around 5000k. The other thing is that with the stand, you can only use it in profile mode. You can't use it on its side. Overall it works well and is a decent light. The price (currently $24ish) seems pretty fair.

Has Four Brightness Settings And A Timer Function

10,000 LUX light therapy lamp has four brightness settings and the ability to set it to automatically turn off in 10,20,30,40,50, or 60 minutes. Note that to get the 10,000 LUX you have to set it just 6" away from you which seems rather close. The lamp's buttons are easy to figure out and use quickly. - There is one button to turn it on/off. - One button that is pushed until the desired brightness is reached (25%,50%,75%, or 100%). - Six numbers are listed. To set a timer all that is required it to push the number of minutes desired from 10 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes. The entire light is about 8 3/4" tall and 6 1/2" wide with a depth of about 1 1/2". The lamp is about 5 1/2" tall and 5" wide. There is a foldable stand on the back allowing it to be placed on a table or it can be hung on a wall using the keyhole slot. The cord is about 69" long. The light didn't get hot in use and worked well.

Using light to improve mood and sleep.

This review is for the TheraLite Glow Bright Light Therapy Lamp. It ia 10,000 LUX LED UV-free light therapy lamp. These lamps are said to help with Mood and sleep problems. It has a timer and 4 brightness settings. I don't get sunlight, so I'm hoping that this lamp will help make up for that.

It works

This light is very bright, lightweight, and easy to use. It could be packed in luggage and used for travel, or hung on your wall at home. It seems to help with waking me up in the morning, but it will be quite a few months before I know how well it helps my winter mood. You can also dim the light if you just need an extra light source for working.
