The stand is nice, but it just needed to be a little ...

I wish the Stand had been a little heaver then what it is. I put my Gazing Ball on the stand and placed it on a square block in my flowerbed along several other gazing balls on stands, but this one was just to light so the wind knocked it down breaking my gazing ball. The stand is nice, but it just needed to be a little heaver so it cannot be docked down. I will still use the stand to use something else with it, but, not for the gazing ball. I had two other stands that were made heavier and cannot blow down. But again, I will still use this one anyway.

Good Height, BUT Too Light! Easy to Tip Over

I was really hoping this gazing ball stand would be exactly what I needed. However, just as some of the other reviewers note, it is very light, weighing much less than 1 pound. The item description says it weighs 1.35 pounds, but it actually only weighs 8.9 ounces, just barely over half a pound. Also besides the lightness, the legs on this stand are very close together, making it much easier to tip over. I really wanted it to lift my glass gazing ball of the ground a bit to make it higher than the plants around it, and it does, but I'm not sure it will stay up. I don't want my glass ball to fall over and break. Let's see how it does...
