Denna unika ädelstensglob är helt ny och i perfekt skick. Den är mödosamt handgjord av de mest begåvade artisterna genom att använda mer än 30 olika halvädelstenar från hela världen. Denna jordklot har använt stora mängder kraschade pärlpulver som pulveriserats och blandats med en epoxi och hällt för att göra havet till en del av jordklotet (det är en mycket komplicerad och dyr procedur, exakt kontroll av temperaturen är den viktigaste faktorn i bearbetningen cykel). Detta är en enorm mängd slående och dramatiska handgjorda stenarbeten. Denna jordglob är byggd med det vackra utsmyckade, 3-bens tunga silverbelagda zinkmetallstativet i vilket jordgloben noggrant har monterats. Längst ner på stativet är en inbyggd mässingskompass med exakt glastopp inbyggd för att komplettera världen. Varje land är inlagt av en annan sten, och stenarna är individuellt skurna och slipade till krävande sammankopplade former, polerade och inställda i detta utsökta konstverk med omsorg och uppmärksamhet på närliggande områden. Jordklotets element är skapade av lapis lazuli, pärlemor, ametist, afrikansk jade, tigeröga, jaspis, turkos, lila kvarts, onyx, unakite, abalone, grön marmor och många andra vackert nyanserade och rikt ådrade stenar. Latitud- och longitudlinjerna är mycket tunna band av polerad mässing, inbäddade genom jordklotet. Varje jordklot kräver tio individuella steg att komponera och det tar mer än 500 timmars arbete att slutföra. 10 tum hög, själva jordklotet är 6 tum i diameter

Well made visually stunning!

Very well made, and visually stunning! Lots to choose from, but I really like the Company. The base is one of A kind. My only concern is that it's hard to spin. Not a deal breaker for me. The size is perfect for an office. Im glad I searched for what I wanted. That I Got!

Nice tripod frame with compass

I love the better quality of the tripod frame of this size and how the the tripod frame fits and glides around the globe and the compass that sits at the bottom. The globe itself is pretty-ish, but I wish they has used different colors than they did for the countries. The ones they have are... odd choices in a few instances. Over all I am satisfied, but if I had seen this in a store, I would have probably picked a different color. This globe was shipped the right way, well protected and packed in styrofoam and wrapped in tissue paper.

Unique and gorgeous

I've always wanted a decorative globe. My fiance got me this for my birthday and I love it! It's so unique and I can't recall seeing another one like it. The compass mounted under the globe in the base is a nice touch. It looks great on my desk in our home office. Keep in mind it is relatively small - not like your larger scale globes.

Great retirement gift!

I purchased this globe as a retirement gift for my supervisor. It was much prettier in person. She was impressed that we (the group) purchased something so nice. It was within our means and looked worth a lot more that we paid for it.

Not Recommended

I ordered this & sent it back, def not worth it. Looks cheap and tacky & the gemstones don't even match the country's shape. Ordering a larger globe ( even though its more money) would be the way to go. You get what you pay for...

Does not look "expensive"

I liked the way it looked in the picture. While the description says that the tripod is "gold" colour, it is not. It's more like a satin nickel, just like in the picture (and just like I wanted). Of course what something looks like in a picture is not always what it looks like in person, so I also went by the reviews, one of which says that it looks much more expensive than it actually is. I have to disagree with that. The globe is made of a plexi glass of sorts and filled with sand/a resin. I was expecting the globe to be some metallic material, but maybe I missed something in the description. In any case, to me it certainly didn't feel or look "expensive". I kept it in my bookcase for a few days, but every time I looked at it I simply did not like the way it looks. That being said - maybe my expectations for it simply were to high, and it didn't fit in with the objects around it. It may look beautiful in a different setting - and to someone with different expectations.
