Was apprehensive but I like it
I was apprehensive at first bc I'm darkskin black and I've heard glycolic can be alot and this is 14%. But so far so good. I've used mandelic, salicylic, lactic & currently use tretinoin. None gave me visible results with my hyperpigmentation like this product is doing now. I also use their glycolic body lotion & see results also. My skin just likes glycolic acid I guess bc I was using lactic acid lotion before & not seeing results like I'm seeing now. So yeah if you're apprehensive & have tried the other acids give it a shot, patch test & see. I give it 4 stars bc I've only been using it for a week. Can't hype it too much rn.

Hello, I had the bumpy skin on my back upper arm from age 16 to age 56. Then i stumbled accross this serum. I used it once a week because my skin is VERY sensitive and within 4 treatments my little skin bumps were gone! The condition I had was called : Keratosis pilaris. I am so happy. I will try to use the serum on my face now, treating possible acne/clogged pores

I am on my 3rd bottle, I think..... A few years ago, I bought this because it was "cheap" and I was entering my 40's so was looking for a anti aging serum. When I first bought this my face was breaking out from stress of turning 40 lol when I rubbed it on my face, it began to burn!!! I panicked, but the burn only lastest a few seconds. I was hoping my face didn't have a reaction to the serum, but I went to bed..... The next morning, my small ance spots, GONE!!!!! I was shocked!!! Fast forward a couple years my daughter started a new job and the initial stress from having a new job, around new people, and being a boss at a young age, caused her forhead to break out. I didn't want to hurt her feeling and draw attention to her "not so clear" complexion, but I confronted her about her forhead and I told her I had something that may help. I decided to order her a bottle of her own. I told her when the Amazon package came, apply after her shower, it may burn or tingle, but would help. IT WORKED!!!!!! I wish I had a pic of her before and after. It is amazing!!!!! In 48hrs her face was ???? clear again. Now moving on to now. 2 weeks ago I got poisin ivy for the first time ever in my life. And last Sunday I broke out in hives (yes I know I'm a hot mess and have super sensitive skin) by Monday my hives were EVERYWHERE!! I called my Dr and told them I hadn't broke out in year, but due to alot of stress I was now covered. They called me in a script that I had to take for 5 days. I thought taking these steroids my Dr prescribed would also help with the small spot of poisin I had on my wrist. (They were two tiny bubbles no bigger then a pencil eraser maybe??) However this poison wouldn't go away. My "genius boyfriend"???? told me to try Neosporin since it was suppose to help with itching and sores. Big mistake!! Within 24hr it got worse and started itching again. Last night before bed I had an idea... "Why not rub that serum on my wrist????? so here are the 2 pics to compare.... Saturday with Neosporin and now (Monday morning) after using one application of this awesome serum!!!!! It has dried and begin to heal it!!! By tomorrow evening it should be gone!!!! This may not be the review some were looking for, but it dries out acne, hives, poison, etc super fast and no scars left behind! I love this stuff!!!! May not be for the right reasons, but it's definitely worth having a bottle on hand!!!!!

Noticeable difference in 1 week
I never had acne or cystic pimples until I had to wear a mask all day. My dry, sensitive, 40yr old skin was ravaged and I was left with mild, red scarring. It was mild and pretty easily covered with full makeup, but I prefer not to wear makeup most of the time and I felt I couldn't do that anymore. I tried many products and had a full cycle of chemical peels. This product has helped more in 1 week than all of the others combined. It's affordable too!

I use this on my arms for Keratosis Pilaris
I use this on my horrible KP on my arms. It started just on my upper arms when I was in my early 20s and has made a very slow but very unstoppable march all the way down my arms to right at the wrists. Nothing on the pale undersides of my arms, mind you, just on the upper sides. I can't stand the way KP feels. I used to scrub with granule concoctions and salt oils and buff puffs and scrubby gloves and even tried shaving my arms which was weird and I felt naked and shivering like a hairless chihuahua. It was so much maintenance - I'd give up after a few weeks and go back to having sandpaper arms. Ugh. This stuff is just a pump or two on each arm right after you towel off (preferably still moist skin (sorry for using the word moist) - don't towel off a layer of skin or anything) and smooth it in. Then use your lotion (I usually use the Alpha Skin glycolic lotion as well, but you don't have to. I've used St. Ives over this serum plenty of times, too.) When I wake up in the morning my skin is SO smooth. Sadly the pinkness is still there but at least the skin feels very soft and smooth with this serum instead of like the surface of a scruffy mouse pad. And it's a LOT easier than scrubbing and maintaining. It takes 30 seconds to slap on some serum before lotion and go about my business. I only use it every other day. Oh, and I also use this on my face from time to time at night. Your skin looks fresh and dewy in the morning - it's great.
