Love them!

Good product, why plastic?

For a product coming from Amazon Aware, they really should change the packaging to something more sustainable. Paper or a biodegradable product. They should do it for all Amazon packaging, but at least Amazon Aware.

Gigantic

I’m a 27/28 in jeans, and got a small in these undies. I’m keeping them because I need them, and hoped they’d pull shrink in the wash. We just wear them very high waisted.

Nope. Soft but that's the only positive

Soft, yes, but they are the most uncomfortable thongs I've ever worn. It's like a books-worth of tags on the back and when I tried to gently tug on them to remove the entire waistband seam tore. They're high-waisted but not fully so they dig and wedge. In the trash.

Cotton!

Lovee that these are 100% cotton as I am trying to reduce the amount of plastic materials I come into contact with throughout my day. They have held up to a handful of washes already. I really like them.

I'm used to having thin, seamless panties and these are a little thick. They're very comfortable though!

Way better than expected

I’m not the type to go into raptures about what is essentially a simple cotton thong, but these would deserve it if I were. I have a latex allergy and buying knickers is a nightmare because there really are some places you don’t want to risk a rash. I’ve bought and discarded so many pairs that have had me itching shortly after putting them on, that the ones I’ve kept have needed mending from all the use, as one model after another gets dropped or unhelpfully “upgraded” by the manufacturer. I figured I would give these a try. One small purchase, not a total disaster if they don’t work out. At the end of the working day, I was still waiting for that first tickle of an itch to come, ready to tackle the rash when it arrived. Reader, I’m still waiting. Neither of the two I bought has caused a reaction. Bliss. If you’ve never had an allergic reaction to your lingerie, you’re probably keen for me to get to the point. But if you have, you’ll understand that really is the point. Questions of style and colour and ordinary measures of comfort are secondary to your nether regions not being sore. I’m pleased to report that these are also very comfortable, the fabric feels substantial and like it will wear well over the course of the washes. It managed to feel more special than the equivalent M&S. I had hopes of the Amazon Aware brand living up to the carbon neutral claims, given the GOTS certified organic cotton, and product blurb, so the one thing to spoil the experience was the knickers being packaged in a plastic bag. There is excellent recycled paper packaging available that would make more sense for the Amazon Aware range. But that is a comparatively small niggle when weighed against the fact that I’ve found comfortable, good quality knickers that don’t make me itch. I’m sorry: I’m still ridiculously excited by that, and you won’t understand that unless you’ve been forced to consider learning to make your own because your old ones are more mend than fabric at this point and can’t find anything safe to replace them. Good work, Amazon.
