Great inexpensive winter coat
Was looking for a stylish "puffy" jacket that was inexpensive as winter closed in on us and I remembered I had thrown out my old coat the spring before with a broken zipper and tattered sleeves. This one fit the bill and TBH, for the price, I was just hoping to get a season out of it. With spring coming again this coat has been great all winter. Warm enough for the cold Wisconsin weather. It is water "resistant" and I would say that is true only if there is not much water. But it does dry quickly. I've yet to wash it but will before I pack it away. I'll come back and update if it doesn't hold up to the wash but I expect it will and I will be wearing it again next winter.

OK for the price
I just received it and went outside in a windy 7 degree afternoon. I had trouble keeping the hood up as there is no draw string and and it is sewn on, the top snap helps. It's warm and should be fine to the twenties. Below that give yourself room to layer. Zippers and snaps appear to be better quality than my other chinese made coats as the sliders always go out after about a year. I now keep a jar with zipper sliders for repair. If a jacket separates at the bottom it is almost always a worn slider.

Pretty Good Value
It's a decent jacket for use in Chicago area during January and February. One caveat is that it's not waterproof; you'll need another layer over this jacket if it's raining. Also, there are no draw strings for the hood. Just make sure to zip it all the way up and the hood should stay put. There's an inside pocket which is suitable for a cell phone as well (velcro enclosure). Outside hand pockets both zip shut. I'd say i like this jacket.

Works well, but pockets could certainly be larger!
Very pleased overall, but was in the habit of storing gloves in one pocket and a net cap in the other, and still having room to stuff my hands in, in my prior coat. No way in the world here.

Cute and warm
I'm a female and I bought this for myself. Unfortunately the women's equivalent was lightweight for the same price as a men's heavyweight jacket. This still looks great on a woman's frame, and it keeps me quite warm.

Warm and great price!
I bought this to wear in below 30 degree temps, especially if there's significant windchill. Having purchased other Amazon Essentials jackets, I knew to err on buying a slightly larger size. I'm 6 foot, 190 pounds and bought size XL which I feel fits correctly for a winter coat. I wore it in 20 degree temps with 5+ mph wind and it was comfortable with only a long sleeve t-shirt for a couple hours outside taking a walk. The outer shell doesn't seem that durable but fine for casual use. I rarely need a coat this warm more than 5-10 days a year so its perfect for the price.

Exceeded my expectations.
I was a bit skeptical because of the price and not being a "brand" coat, but after wearing it for the last 2-3 weeks in sub-zero windchill weather, I am quite impressed. It is a very light coat, resembling a windbreaker. However, it does the job very nicely. In some cases, I didn't even need another layer to feel warm. It also protects against wind quite well. The neck area is well covered when buttoning up, and the hoodie provides good wind and snow coverage. I do not feel as restricted movement-wise as with heavier coats, as I do not see the need to layer-up heavily in most weather conditions. The pockets have ample room, and I appreciate the inside wallet/phone pocket (I wish there two though). I am only hoping that the material and build quality is up to par and I hope to enjoy this coat for at least 3 years. Still, at this price, this coat earns an easy recommendation for me.

Good jacket bought on sale
Good Puffer coat if purchased when on sale. Not worth the full price. Wrinkles a bit too easily but quite functional overall. Inner pocket has no zipper (just a little bit of useless velcro. The hood can't be unzipped too.

Not bad .
Mixed feelings about this coat ,if feels very thin ,not much insulation in it ,and not heavy ,was looking for something a bit heavier and warmer but with a jumper underneath it does the job to walk the dog on cold evenings, plus zip is on opposite, and can be quite fiddly to zip up .
