Color is not described correctly

I received this today. It is well made and sizing is accurate. I took off a couple of stars because the maroon color is definitely brown. Brown is my least favorite color. There is absolutely no hint of maroon whatsoever. Also the shipping was not prime compliant. I don’t mind a little extra waiting, but when Amazon charges me for prime and the majority of the time my items are 5-7 days…. I smell a scam. Amazon needs to look into this and up the game, or stop charging for prime. I am 5’ 9” 175 lbs and a 36C. I got the XL because I don’t like body con dresses. It hits just below my knee. Perfect with boots.

Don't fear the stripes!

I've wanted a sweater dress for years, but the ones I've tried always looked odd on me and bunched up at the lower back. (FYI: The Amazon Essentials Crewneck Sweatshirt Dresses do that very thing.) I ordered this dress because I liked the gradient colors (black, grey, and cream). Honestly, I didn't think it would look that good on me. I've always heard that stripes shouldn't be horizontal, as they're not flattering. That may be the case with some patterns, but not with this one! The stripes are broad and varied in color, and I think that really helps make this a flattering dress. I tried the Navy and Burgundy colors, too, and those looked bunchy, clingy, and frumpy, which surprised me. (They were also slightly baggier in the arms, for some reason.) The stripes definitely work some type of magic, that's for sure. For reference, I purchased the Extra Small size. I'm 5'4" about 115 pounds, and not busty in the least (we're talking 34 A). Even if this doesn't sound like you, I encourage you to try the dress. Mind you, it will accentuate your curves, as will any knitted dress like this, but give the stripes a try; you might just like them. : )

I LOVE this sweater dress

Staple item that can be dressed up or down. I’m a typical 4-6 and the size XS was perfect for me! I also tried the Small but it was bigger than I wanted around the bottom half. If you’re larger in the hips, the Small would likely fit you very well! Can’t wait to wear this!

OK for casual wear but fabric is a little thin

The dress is okay for casual wear. I wish the fabric were thicker. As it is, the dress hangs kind of limply. Price is great.

Very cute dress for fall and winter with added boots. Is thick so perfect. The burgundy is a really deep purple almost plum. That is why I knocked the stars down

Elle est géniale

J'avais tellement hâte de la recevoir. Je l'ai attendu une grosse semaine et je craignais qu'elle soit trop petite car j'ai prix une X Large. Normalement je porte du XX Large. La X Large était beaucoup moins chère. Mais finalement elle me va comme un gant. Elle sera parfaite pour les temps froids. C'est pour ça que je l'ai acheté. Elle est légère, a un beau col en V et j'ai de l'espace pour être très confortable. Je la recommande...!

I bought it for my mom for Christmas. I washed it first and put it in the dryer. It washes beautifully without any pilling at all. Nice neckline and the width is just right and not too wide fitting. Very nice quality too. She loves it.
