Beautiful Red Haired Doll!

American Girl is out of stock on this doll until July, so when I found her on Amazon, I just had to snap her up. There were no reviews with photos of her so I wanted to post a review so people could see that this really is for the otherwise out of stock #103. I am an adult collector, and have had American Girls since 1992 - I wanted to post that quite a bit of hair came out with the first brushing. I can't remember that being a thing ever, so I wanted to post a photo so others are aware and not surprised when they get her. It doesn't seem to be a huge problem or continuing problem, I was just surprised! She's just lovely, and my first Truly Me doll. I have read other reviews that did not like the quality of this collection but she seems just like any of the high quality dolls AG makes.

Not a fan of these "outfits"

She's very cute in person. I picked this one because it's the closest to my daughter without paying double for a "create your own" doll. Honestly have no problem with the price (inflation is global), just the general fact of these night-shirt style "t-shirt dresses" being their only clothes. Thankfully, choosing a "Truly Me" leaves (comparative) room in the budget for some accessories - otherwise, all of this would be too rich for us.

My 5 year old loves her doll! We went to the American girl doll store in nyc after Christmas and she got a carrying case for her doll, she brings her everywhere it’s so adorable!!
