Missing part causes delay, frustration and disappointment

This product was missing a vital piece to install the hand held device. Our plumber was unable to work on the install, yet I am responsible for a service call. I attempted to contact the American Standard Customer service department and after waiting for 1 hour and 58 minutes listening to their recorded message about how important my call was to them, I hung up frustrated. I called the local plumbing supply store to inquire if they had the part on hand, they did not, but since I had purchased other items from them they intervened on my behalf and called American Standard (commercial line) to request the missing part be sent to me. That was almost a week ago and still no part, the plumber is returning tomorrow and I will have to eliminate the hand held component and use only the 3 piece rather than the 4 piece which by the way was more expensive to purchase. I am very disappointed but can not postpone the install any longer.

Check return timeframe

Ordered this faucet for a new build but plumber says the base is too big to mount to the side mount free standing tub ledge. Tried to return but the 30 day return window has expired.

American Standard

I bought a similiar set like this 11 yrs ago I called American Standard and since parts are no longer available they sent me this kit for free. They have a Lifetime Warranty.

Disappointed in the purchase.

This product arrived incomplete and cannot be installed. After filling an online query, I am directed to American Standard where I would have to purchase the missing parts at costs that do not make purchasing sense.
