Husband loves his boots but know that they are firm fitting around ankle. It’ll take some time to break them in.

Nice boots
They took a few days to break in and the evening I would put rolled up socks in them to stretch the ankle area out. After the break in I can wear them all day. I’ve been wearing ARIAT for many years now and these like all the others I’ve owned are nice looking, well built and comfortable boots.
