Saved my newborn

In 2020 we had our first baby and it was the ONLY thing that calmed him down when he seemed to be crying for no reason. Now that we’re on baby #2 we order another to replace it. Looking forward to seeing if the new baby likes it. Lights up and sings songs- definitely more for the parents to do for the kid as it’s a bit harder to shake

One of our favorite baby toys…

My youngest two children have both had their own jellyfish toy and this is what I can tell you. The toy itself is cute and super durable, with long lasting battery life. However, the company uses button batteries as their battery choice. Not a big deal if you keep an eye on the toy and make sure the backing is never loose, but generally button batteries are a big no-no for kids; especially babies. This toy is bright! With every tap of the toy I’d say the lights and music go for about 10 seconds before needing to be hit again. It has 2 or 3 different tunes it cycles through. This toy probably isn’t the best for the parent / caregiver that is easily overstimulated by sounds as the music is pretty loud. Unfortunately the manufacturer did not make this toy with a button to adjust volume so if you want the toy it’s kinda just something you have to deal with. Over all it’s a cute toy that’s been a huge hit in our house. This toys light also glows red (not shown in review pictures).

this rattle tplays soothing beautiful music and lighs up soothing color my grandchildren love this from infant to 2 years it is so pleasent.

Educational & functional

My grandchild really liked it, at first I thought it was just another musical toy but it's much more. She's only 5 months & the legs were soothing for her teething, she discovered that on her own. The fact that she can manipulate it easy since it's got 8 legs makes it fun for her & the music makes it more exciting.

Great Toy

My baby loves this toy. The only issue we have with it is the teether and the mirror. The baby doesn't like the teether sand dollar, I guess it doesn't feel nice. They will bite it a couple times then move to the mirror instead. This is the issue - the sticker on the back of the mirror. Because my baby prefers to chew on the square shape the sticker is peeling away. I've had to scrub off the sticker to prevent the baby from eating it. I definitely recommend the toy. I got this because my baby was fascinated by Opus on the activity bouncer. I also got their musical snuggy Opus. My baby enjoys all of these items very much and they were well worth it.

Lovely toy but not machine washable!

This is a lovely toy but unfortunately it’s not machine washable as they sticker with the fish on the other side of the mirror comes off in the washing machine. Such a shame as it’s a nice toy otherwise. I don’t understand why companies wouldn’t make baby toys machine washable, so important to be able to clean them properly. And you could easily put some sort of plastic picture or texture on the other side of that mirror. Unfortunately for me, I now have to try and take off the remaining glue from the sticker and it doesn’t look as nice anymore.

Useless

I brought this for my son and it just keeps saying "blue" randomly even sometimes when other colours are pressed. It's OK for him now because he's only 7 months so it's just sounds but I'll have to be sure to take it away before he becomes aware of words or he'll obviously get confused. Tried to contact seller but they didnt want to help. Also it says the colours in an American accent so I wonder if it would have made him copy them with an American twang instead of a British accent.

Our boy loves it

Our 3 months old boy really like that octopus. He is working hard on grabbing the toys on it and seem to really enjoy the bright colours. It arrived before the delivery date initially set so that was a bonus as well.

My baby LOVES her octopus, is always very excited to play with it and see it in the mornings. By far her favourite toy.
