great size/ nursing gear

I am a nurse practitioner. I took a job making home visits to patients. I tried this bag out to carry around a basic set of equipment to check vital signs. I can fit a bp cuff, pulse ox, stethoscope, hand sanitizer and a few other small items in this and get it zipped. I couldn't fit much more gear than that but wouldn't need to. As with other Baggalini bags I've owned, this one is quite attractive with the light blue interior and the overall design, also extremely well constructed with sturdy fabric, secure stitching, attention to small details like zipper pulls and hardware. I like the pocket placement, there are a variety of sizes of internal & external pockets for stashing different items including phones, pens etc. I don't see the purpose of the credit card slots but that's just me. Maybe I'll use them to hold my business cards. I haven't had the bag long enough to comment on water resistance. While I've probably got an unusual use for it, I can also see how this bag would be a great travel bag for carrying essentials on day trips, carrying around a tablet or e-reader etc. highly recommend

Crossbody with a missing strap

There is no strap!! Looked in the box & in every compartment-No Strap!! Hopefully I can get a strap sent because a crossbody won’t work without a purse strap. Without one, I’ll have to return!!!

Great function, look not to my taste

I loved the pockets, the size, and how lightweight it is. But the overall look (especially with the shimmer) is not to my taste. I love the cool cell phone pocket. It does not fit 8.5 x 11 papers the way other reviewers made it sound, otherwise I would consider re-ordering it in Black, despite its less than cute appearance.

Fits an iPad Pro!

Baggallini honestly just makes great bags, whether for international travel or even just daily errands about town. This one, the Five Blocks Crossbody, boasts all the usual Baggallini features: • Tons of pockets for organization • Lightweight fabrication • Top-quality stitching, material, straps, magnets, and buckles • Durable & smooth-running zippers • Adjustable shoulder strap • Coordinating lining fabric • Timeless shapes, colors, and design lines The Five Blocks has some unique features. It's a bit larger than I thought it would be, based on the photos. Think about wearing an iPad on your hip, with a little cushion all the way around, and you'll get the idea. The main draw of the Five Blocks is that it has two main compartments: one for your tablet and the other for all your normal "pursely" needs. The bag is laid out as follows, from front to back: • Front pocket (already described above: the built-in wallet) • Exterior zippered slip pocket • EASTER EGG: A cell phone pocket built into the front top seam! You can see it in the stock photos. It has a notched opening and is located behind the front zipper but before the zipper on the main pouch, along the top stitched seam. Super fun treat to find! • Roomy main zippered compartment with RFID card slots and plenty of slip pockets • Second zippered main compartment with padding (for iPads and tablets) • Back exterior slip pocket with a magnetic closure • Detachable shoulder strap so you can carry the Five Blocks like a portfolio or dedicated laptop sleeve The "Sterling Shimmer" fabric of the Five Blocks has a slight nubby texture and a bit of a sheen, almost like taffeta. I actually really like this. Zero complaints & highly recommended! I love this for traveling with my tablet.

Great as a tablet sleeve, shoulder bag, or minimalist school bag.

This offers all of the quality and organization I’ve come to expect from Baggallini. My mom uses her iPad as her primary computer and likes to take it with her when out and about running errands since she hasn’t made the jump to a smartphone yet and free wifi is ubiquitous so this is perfect for her. The taupe color of the sterling shimmer Bagg will go with almost anything. This has a big slip pocket with a magnetic clasp on the back side. The back zip compartment is lightly padded and easily fits my iPad 4 with Otterbox Defender. The pale blue lining is both pretty and practical since it offers nice contrast when looking for things in the pockets. The second zip compartment has a lot of organization, with a zipper pocket, two slip pockets each half the width of the bag, five RFID blocking card slots, a pen slot, and two smaller slip pockets. The front of the bag has a convenient easy access phone pocket and another big zipper pocket. I do wish Baggallini had included a magnet to secure the phone pocket as they have on some of their other bags, but the pocket is deep enough that I’m not too worried about my phone falling out. The adjustable strap is wide enough for comfort when carrying a fully loaded bag, and it could be used as a shoulder bag, crossbody bag, or unclipped to use this as a tablet sleeve/organizer in a tote or backpack. If I wanted to, I could fit my iPad, a couple of composition notebooks, a calculator, pens and pencils, and my wallet and phone in here and use this as my school bag since I don’t anticipate taking textbooks back and forth to campus this semester. This is yet another practical, well-thought out, and delightful Bagg.

A great hands free, lightweight bag

As soon as I opened the bag, I knew I had found the perfect bag for me. I love the east-west orientation bags, much easier to find items in when a bag is wider than it is long. It has just the right amount of pockets and sections and is very light. It fits close to the body. I normally carry Kipling Angie and it's great, but just a wee bit too small and I end up stuffing it too full. This one is just a little bigger and that's what I need. The fabric and hardware are high quality, as is the construction. However, I got blue thinking it was a dark navy and it's not. It's quite blue and doesn't go with all my clothes. So I'm returning for the black. The gray is nice too, and would go with anything, but it's described as having a shimmer, which I wouldn't care for.

Con tantos buenos comentarios de este modelo me animé a adquirirla, y no, no me convence. Aunque la idea es buena, el bolso es demasiado estrecho que prácticamente no le cabe todo lo que siempre llevo. En fin, seguiré en busca de mi bolso perfecto...
