realistic fun

Got these for a bunch of 8 year olds. The masks were pretty intimidating when the kids charged each other. The elastic string broke pretty quick. So I duct taped some stips of cloth to them and used this to tie onto the kids heads - actually make it more realistic. Kids had a blast playing with these in their fort and around the pool.

Quality card stock knight masks

These were for a Renaissance themed holiday dinner, the children enjoyed them and the accompanying inflatable knight swords I purchased! Thick card stock and quality image and coloring, though the masks were a little large. This was fine though, it was more fun with them that large!

Paper masks, huge!

These are really big. Fit adults, not kids and they are paper masks so not durable at all. Sticky dots hold the elastic cord to the paper.

Not worth it!!!

Product came with no instructions. I didn't figure out they were supposed to be folded down the middle until the day after the party. They kept falling off of the kids' face and ended up being taken off and sitting on the tables more than being played with on. If I didn't write their names on the back - I would have returned these. Not worth it at all.

Nice look. Too large for kids. String breaks.

Got these for a 7 year gold's birthday. The kids loved the look. They were a bit large for the children though and would not stay on. Also the string come off extremely easily. Some broke just when we pot them on.

Make Sure You Read the Reviews! Title and Pics Misleading

I should've read the reviews and pictures from other customers before purchasing. The title and product pictures provided by seller are very misleading. These knight masks are cardboard cutouts and BIG. I didn't open the bag because I wanted to return them only to find out, the seller DOESN'T TAKE RETURNS. If I did use them for my sons 7 year old bday party, they would've been to big. So make sure this is what you want.

While a good try, these are a bit delicate for ultra-rough play. Good for one-two time use, but will fall apart.

While these are likely good for kid play, they were not conducive to success for my uses. I tried to have 'Knights' in my Shakespeare scenes wear these while we performed. However, the masks' eye holes were just not placed right for students reading and reciting lines from NFS books. While this is not a flaw in the mask themselves, I am merely saying that for MY use (namely as a classroom prop for a play) they affected readability. In addition, the latex band holding the masks is thin, and with careless/rough handling (i.e. that of 8th graders) they will likely come undone or even snap or rip the holes from the paper masks.

Other Uses

I don't think these masks are very appropriate for their stated purpose because, like the previous reviewer said, the elastic is flimsy, so if used them as masks they would surely slip if your were dancing at a party, and also look quite silly if you have a normal-sized head - even though the size is stated, the masks are a lot bigger than you imagine, and the eye slots are too low down for them to sit comfortably on the face, with exception of the more oval-shaped mask. The only reason I'm giving these 4 stars is because I actually bought them to be used as wall decorations for a party, and for that, they worked great, and they were packaged well when delivered.

Don't be fooled these are not plastic these are cardboard paper cut out. Very disappointed.

Flat paper masks, but nice

Good selection. I wish I had read more carefully as they are paper masks with elastic backs. It was ok for what I needed but I was expecting something else. I would still recommend the product as they were nicely printed for what I paid.

Used as wall decorations rather than masks
