Size up!

Definitely size up, I usually wear a 5.5/6 and I ended with a 6.5. I ended up finding them on sale at a local dance store but will be back for the black and white ones. I recommend doing try before you buy since Amazon has it! Better to be safe and have the easier return

Nice Crisp Sound

I really like these shoes and they are a nice pair of tap shoes for the price. The sound is amazing. Very crisp. They aren’t a really heavy shoe. I hate the laces. I find that no matter what I do one lace is always significantly shorter making it difficult to tie. They run small. I take a 6.5 and had to get a whole size up 7.5 to fit me. I couldn’t even get my feet in the size 7. But definitely recommend these shoes and love the black and white design.

Okay shoes but not my favorite tap sound when used on Marley floors

I bought a shoe 1 size larger than my street shoe and they fit perfectly. These shoes do have a shart edge on the underside of the shoe...so doing wings and even when just doing some simple moves, I can feel the outside edge of my shoe catch on the Marley floor. (I believe another reviewer said that these shoes tore up the tap board of her daughter, and I can see why, maybe something because of the silver soul of the shoes). The taps on these shoes are nice and secure, but they sound a little heavy at times. The shoes are not any heavier than any of the others I have used or tried, but the taps just don't have a "ring" when on a Marley floor. These are not my favorite shoes (I think I like the taps on the Capezios better in general), but they are good shoes, love the heart emblem and the silver souls and I didn't need any time to work them in for fit.

These shoes run dinky small

I bought these shoes 3 or 4 times before I got a size that fit. Normally I wear a European size 36. This translates to a 6-6.5. After several purchases and exchanges I finally settled on a size 8 (and they are slightly snug but I expect them to stretch because the shoe is leather). That said, these are a good looking shoe. The entire bottom of the shoe is metal so they are slippery. Two rubber grippers were included with the shoes. I think they go on the bottom of shoe so they won't be so slick but I don't know how to affix them to the sole. (no obvious peel and stick) Otherwise, I have no idea what the rubber grippers are for. Heel guards maybe?

NOT NEW!

Product advertised as “new’” The product cost the same as “new.” Sadly, this product is/was USED!!! BLOCH (the brand of this tap shoe) appeared to have discontinued the design. The dancer needed the Tap shoe for a dance competition and these were the only ones available at the time.

Beautiful and affordable shoe. It does run small please go into a store to get sized or pay special attention to the sizing chart.

GREAT TAP SHOES

Bloch are amazing tap shoes. I read about the sizing on the Bloch site, so I knew to order 2 sizes (yup 2!) larger. I'm normally a 9.5 shoe and got 11.5 shoes size and they fit. I ended up ordering from Amazon because the shoe shipped sooner and returns were easier with prime than thru Bloch. Great Shoe!

Great shoe

I love the look feel and sound of this shoe. The seams are very thin and placed perfectly to avoid any uncomfortable rubbing. The leather is soft and supple right out of the box. The sound is very good too. I especially like the weight of the shoe. I own two pairs of Jason Samuel Smith shoes and was looking for a quality shoe that is a little more light weight and didn't break the bank. I think I found everything I was looking for in this shoe. I am an 8 in a street shoe but went up a half size and went with the 8.5 med. The width of the shoe fits my foot like a Glove. I would consider myself a true medium width and this shoe is holding firmly onto my foot width wise, however, I am very happy with my purchase. I recommend buying this shoe. It is definitely worth the money. You won't be sorry!

Great bang for your buck

Love these shoes! Great quality for price. Listened to other reviewers and ordered half a size up and they are a bit snug but getting better. :)

Not worth buying

These might be stronger then white plastic balls but they go no further and they do NOT feel like hitting a real ball Not as advertised at all!

Super gute Steppschuhe - aber fehlerhafte Grössenangabe

Die Schuhe sind wirklich der Hammer! Tolles Leder, innen gut gepolstert, die Steppplatten sitzen perfekt und der Sound ist ebenfalls top! Dies sollte das 3. Nachfolgerpaar werden... Aber hier wurden die Grössenangaben fehlerhaft verteilt. Eine 7 entspricht einer D 37. Im Angebot steht 38? Das wäre dann eine 8. Daher ist der Schuh leider zu klein. Die Bloch Grössen sind sowieso recht seltsam. Aber die Rückerstattung lief problemlos.

Die Größenumrechnungen sind bei diesem Schuh problematisch.

Die Lieferung kam schnell. Komisch allerdings, dass die Schuhe nur in einer Plastiktüte verpackt waren. Gummistopper waren nicht dabei. Für mich waren die Schuhe viel zu klein. Eine halbe Größe über meiner Normalgrösse reichte überhaupt nicht aus. Ich kam kaum in die Schuhe und konnte sie daher auch nicht ausprobieren. Aber sie sahen schick aus und die Erstattung des Kaufpreises ging problemlos vonstatten.
