Comfortable Grip

Very nice accessory for my lat pull machine. The grip is comfortable and strong. I love the multiple connecting rings for length selection.

Well Made

Solidly constructed. The grips are comfortable. Ultimately time will tell but they seem like they will last a long time in the home gym environment that they will be used for. The only complaint is that the rings are set closely together making each adjustment rather small incrementally.

It's a solid handle & ordered another today.

It's a solid handle & will hold up for what I need them for. When I ordered I was thinking they came in pairs but my mistake so, I ordered the other today. The four metal rings are large & sturdy. When or if they wear out I will buy them again & will recommend them to the guys in the gym.

Updated handles feel alright.

Noticed that a lot of the reviews on here are referring to the older design of the handles, so took a leap and ordered hoping for the updated version. The old ones looked similar to handles people used on some elastic band handles I've seen sold, which I also have(elastic band handles) but need the extra length these provided. The new handles look and feel very sturdy with what little I've used them. I intend to use these on a cable crossover machine I have, but not with exceedingly heavy weight as I've got much more solid handles for that. But so far these feel very solid. I only use the D-ring on the end so I'm not sure how the others hold up. Bought 2 of them for cable rows to supplement another attachment I have been using which had a fixed width and wanting to be able to rotate my wrists. I've only put them through fairly light use as they're just a accessory and don't get used often as the rest of my gear. Feels like they should last me a while as they're not my primary piece of equipment.

Don't Buy it! It will Break!

DON'T BUY IT unless you're using less than 40 lbs. of weight, because IT WILL BREAK. The thin plastic core in the handle WILL break if you're using more than ~40lbs...trust me. Read all the other reviews if you don't believe me. And, on top of that, this IS NOT eligible for returns; you can guess why! I bought this for use on my BowFlex and because it was the only grip available that was adjustable. So, now I'll have to cannibalize a pair of old BowFlex grips and make these usable; a couple of hours of work, but I'll at least have the USABLE adjustable grip I want. Body Solid? Really? LMAO! But anyway, if I need an additional adjustable grip, I will buy again and modify it, because, like I said earlier, It's the only adjustable grip available. Tip to the "Body Solid" folks who might read this: Test your products first. And, Have the manufacturer in Taiwan, or where ever they're made, to toughen that inner tube on the grip. Great idea for a product, but a POOR attempt. Edit 3/17/2017: OK, to further clarify - I've purchased three of these and two have broken, and I've just realized that the two that broke have thick 3/4" black webbing and the one which hasn't broken has thin 3/4" black webbing. So evidently the thicker webbing doesn't distribute the load along the inside of the plastic handle as well as the thinner webbing. Either way the plastic obviously isn't sturdy enough. SO maybe this explains why there are so many five star ratings: these must be the people who drew the handles with the thinner webbing. I've added a star for this realization.

Durable and sturdy.

I bought a set of these Body Solid cable handles for my Nordic Track home gym, to replace the flimsy handles (now broken, as a result of doing merely 150 pound deadlifts) which came with the unit. Body Solid has a strong reputation for quality and durability. I'm hoping this proves to be true of their cable handles. After 10 uses (deadlifts, included)...so far, so good. ********* Update *********** After nearly SIX YEARS: 5-Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My goodness, I've used these straps so many times over these past six years that it boggles my mind just trying to think about the actual number. Here's what I do know: These are some SUPER HIGH-QUALITY straps!!!!!!!!!! These bad boys STILL, believe it or not, look new -- IN EVERY WAY!! They are showing zero signs of breaking down, in any shape, form or fashion! The stitching, the handles, the metal rings....EVERYTHING is still perfect! Bottom line: Body Solid, you have a customer for life!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointed

I have owned many pieces of Body Solid equipment over the years and have become a fan of how well built their products are, however these handles do not represent what I have become accustomed to. There are a lot of good reviews on here and with the Body Solid name it was a no-brainer when the handles on one of my home gyms needed replaced. They arrived today and immediately I was disappointed with the stitching, it is all over the place. Another issue I had was one is thicker and smoother than the other. I called body solid and customer service transferred me to a retail division which told me they couldn't help me. I have ordered lost parts for equipment before and they were great, this time not so much. The packages are clearly marked "made in china" so I assume that could be part of the problem with quality control. Who knows maybe I just got a bad pair, but after dealing with their customer service I don't see myself giving Body Solid any more money.

Good Product

Basing this on the price I paid - £14.99 each (plus about £4 post) - which was about half what they were going for anywhere else. Been using them a little while now and they are very well made. I lot of ones I've used before are not well designed and bruise you quite badly. No such problems with these, very comfortable. Not sure what I would use anything except the shortest setting for, but it doesn't hurt to have the options there. The loose cable flapping annoyed me for a bit till I worked out you just fit the cable clip through the first and last loop to keep it out of the way. No problem recommending these, they are a very good product.

Functional and comfortable

Usually I have used shorter nylon plastic handles for the cable machine and they have worked fine. However, my gym decided to replace these with metal handles which gave me bad bruises and are extremely uncomfortable. I decided to purchase Body Solid's adjustable nylon cable handle as it seemed perfect for my training. It is indeed adjustable so you do not need to stick to one length when doing different exercises. The handle was even more comfortable than it seemed at first hand and made my training even more flexible than before. I definitely recommend it. The crux is that you only get ONE handle for the price so it might be regarded as slightly overpriced in comparison with other products unfortunately.

Perfect little addition to the gym

Brilliant tool. Have a pair of these handles which stand up to the same amount of abuse the metal stirrup handles take. We can load the weight and know these handles will take it. The four attachment points are useful too.

Good quality

Great value once I'd look around and realised how much these usually go for. Bought 2 for pulley weight kit I have as the handles which came with the gym were terrible and cheap. Have owned for 6 months, going strong, would buy again!
