Coffee is really hot can adjust temp

I like it except if you set it up to come on automatically always have to reset the time plus the buttons are hard to press but coffee is really good

Defective One sent.

Plugged the unit in and after setting the time and when I tried to do a initial run the unit threw an error. Contacted Braun and followed their instructions of unplugging it for a few hours and trying again. Got the same error. Returning it has been the greatest annoyance I have ever gone thru with Amazon. UPS was supposed to pick it up on 05 Aug and completely failed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited on the 8th (Monday after scheduled pickup). Still nothing. I contacted Amazon and the first POC chat bot told me their department didn't cover the returns and I need to contact a different Chat Bot. After several back and forth conversations I was told on a Tuesday ""The carrier will come and pick up the item within the end of this week."" I know have to wait up to four days to have UPS pickup a defective item. I do not recommend buying from Amazon Warehouse or this brand/model of coffee maker. The E1 error is common.

Hot plate doesn't stay on all the time

This seems to be a common issue with this coffee maker. As others say, the controls are needlessly complicated, including auto brew set, cleaning cycle and most importantly how long the coffee maker and hot plate stay on after brewing is done. I have found the latter item to be very inconsistent. I have set the keep warm time for 3 hours and when it works it works. However, I would say that is only 4 out 5 times. Every now and again the coffee maker shuts off after brewing instead of staying on. It's quite frustrating as there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why this happens. I have checked many forums and even the Braun support site. All in all the coffee made is delicious, the charcoal filter ensures clean water and the 14 cup carafe is nice for when we have guests. I wish it was a better designed machine so I could recommend it more fully. As it stands, I think most people would be upset with this coffee maker. The last thing you want to worry about first thing in the morning is whether your coffee is still hot or not.

Excellent coffee maker

I had to replace my old coffee maker that I had got over 10 years so I was unsure what brand to buy. I chose the Braun because of name and price. Works fantastically and makes excellent coffee.

Belle représentation robuste, belle capacité de 14 tasses programmables, par contre je n avais pas de manuel d explications en français... ce qui rend un peu la tâche difficile puisque je ne trouve pas comment programmer le réchaud afin qu'il reste chaud plus longtemps... et parfois l écran tactil prend un moment avant de fonctionner cela n est pas instantané, se sont les 2 seuls inconvénients. Sinon, la cafetière donne un bon goût de café sans arrière goût de plastique et cela se nettoie bien.

Braun pure flavour 14 Cup

I like the 14-Cup capacity. The #4 cone filter works well in this unit. The carafe pours very well and is ergonomic. The carafe glass is thin making it fragile. The hot element coated with thin Teflon enamel shows wear within weeks if use. I like the water indicator so you can make the amount of coffee cups you wish to brew. I found it easy enough to program and the clock LED is well lit when it’s brewing and visible on stand-by mode. I’m happy with it after looking at many coffeemaker options. Best feature is how it timely infuses the coffee before it starts the brewing process. Makes excellent bold good tasting coffee. Overall the quantity of 14 cups is its selling feature. The bold brew option makes great coffee as I mentioned. You can hear the coffee maker brewing and gurgling when it’s brewing. The three audible beeps to announce the coffee is ready is faint to the ear. The clean and descaling mode when flashing orange takes approximately 20 minutes with descaling solution. I purchased a gallon of descaling solution from home hardware making it more cost efficient. Using the coffee maker daily the clean me light turns on every 4 months for the descaling process. Big D
