Accurate product description

The product description and model number for this item is accurate. It was the exact replacement part I need to repair my lawnmower. It seems to be of oem quality which isn’t saying much but the price was right. The rope broke on my pull start and replacing this entire assembly was the fix that took all of 5 minutes to complete with no issues. I would buy it again. K shoots

Easily Breaks

The plastic pins and the flat piece that is held by the pins. The broke after 3 uses of the mower.

So far so good, pre-emptively researching Manufacturer's Warranty

Easy on, but easy break? My mower's original assembly failed after 5 years. Bought a $20 replacement off of eBay in May 2021. New assembly failed in Aug 2021. I am buying a Briggs and Stratton part off of Amazon ($30) so that I can hopefully use the manufacturer's warranty and my Amazon card's extended warranty if it fails soon. The warranty information is not readily available so I am asking Amazon to research (yes, they do that!). I'll update this review as I find out more.

Easier Than Replacing Pull Starting Rope

This was an exact replacement fit for my Yard Force mower. The starting rope broke and replacing this whole assembly was easier than dealing with the spring inside. Two screws remove the cover, and three bolts hold this on the mower. Installed and back up and running in just a few minutes.

I had bad experience with the product (about 4x)

The white circular/round piece is to fragile. It breaks to easily when you try to start the lawn mower. I noted this each time I had to send one back. Please relay this to Briggs & Stratton if you have not already done so. After all I've been thru with around 4 of these items, I feel they should upgrade that part and send me 'free' a new rewind part. Now I have a lawnmower with no rewind starter part.

Great replacement part

OEM part, fit perfectly, installed in two min with 4 screws, easiest lawn mower repair ever. Shipping took a while but it was all worth it.
