Good looking, well crafted shirt
The shirt has a great look, and it is very well constructed. While the color I ordered is describes as bright blue, I would call it rich and vibrant but (thankfully) not "bright". The pattern is interesting but not distracting with a touch of red running through it for a bit of contrast. It pairs exceptionally well with grey and khaki colors but looks at home with black, ink, and even deep green. The fabric weight is medium to heavy for a dress shirt. It is soft to the touch, even though the fabric is not a super high thread count. I like the look and weight for early spring and early fall. The collar is sturdy with a lightly accented lining. The collar is cut perfectly for a tie while also looking good open at the first bottom. The two button cuffs are great if you like to roll the sleeves up a turn or two by the end of the day. The bottom hem style lends to wearing the shirt tucked or untucked. As for sizing, I ordered a large, after consulting the size chart, to accommodate my 42.25" chest. Of note I have a 34" waist. The product description labels the shirt a regular fit while the shirt label calls it a "regents cut" (you can see as much if you zoom in on the label in the pictures). The shirt fits perfectly in the shoulders with plenty of room in the chest. I am very comfortable with zero binding while reaching far forward or overhead. But the waist is a bit too baggy for my taste. Thankfully, because the shirt is a sturdy weight cotton, it does hang well without looking too blousy. Regents were not known for living in the edge of starvation, and this shirt will certainly accommodate a well-nourished gentleman. It is a very generous regular cut with lots of sleeve length too.

Nice looking good quality
At this price I expected good quality and I got it. This is a nice shirt and looks finished when on. Washes and wears well and didn’t require ironing from the dryer. The size is as expected and overall it’s just a nice shirt. I could do without the logo but it’s not offensive.

Impressive.... which is usually the case with Brooks Bros...material feels great, love cotton shirts... washed well, very nice collar with buttons which I really like so it appears more formal vs. a floppy collar.... wrinkle free, seems true, although nothing is perfectly wrinkle free, it was wearable out of the dryer, but looks more impressive touched up with an iron. NO loose threads anywhere, well stitched buttons. Pattern is a bit busy, but nicely done, YMMV, everyone has different taste for shirt pattern. Logo is small, but interesting. I would have liked one pocket, oh well....Of course, at this price point, u would expect a very high quality shirt, and thats just what you get.... 4.5 stars, recommended...

This is a quality shirt!
It is expected that a name brand like Brooks Brothers would make a quality shirt. This is that shirt. The material has that level of touch and feel that quality always seems to have. The color is really a very deep blue (almost midnight blue) and when you wear it next to a real black, the blue comes out. So you will want to match it up with some close to that same shade of blue. The fit is great and I personally like the button-down collar that this shirt has. I really like this shirt and have considered buying another but the price is on the high side of what I would normally pay for a shirt of this style. The price would be the only short-coming.

Lives Up to Brooks Brothers’ Quality Reputation
I’ve worn Brooks Brothers shirts throughout my business career. They were well-made, fit me well, and showed few signs of wear for years. This Stretch Oxford Sports Shirt is no exception to my Brooks Brothers experience. With no shirt pocket, the front of the bright blue, true-to-fit, shirt I received has a sophisticated sporty look that makes the blue jeans I wore with it seem classy. Made of heavy cotton and blended with a small amount of stretch spandex, the shirt is comfortable and perfectly tailored. The thickness of that heavy cotton, however, makes it hot to wear on a warm humid day so I’ll be wearing it more often in the Florida winter months. Again, this is a well-made shirt that lives up to Brooks Brothers’ reputation, will provide years of use, and gives the wearer a successful look. It’s the look I want to portray.

thicker than usual fabric but iron-free
This shirt had a chemical smell out of the bag, which went away when washed. I own many Brooks Bros shirts, and this one is their typical non-iron thick and warm weave. Not great for the summer, not very breathable compared to other non-iron shirts. The weave is rougher and more 'rustic' (scratchy?) than a dress shirt. All in all, a typical Brooks Brothers shirt - they come out of the dryer mostly wrinkle-free, but are in return a bit stiff, warm, and rough. I have sensitive skin and probably won't enjoy wearing it without a T-shirt underneath. But it is a solid and well-made shirt. This is btw their regent cut, meaning that it has no fitted cut and will be comfy for the men whose calorie intake exceeds their expenditure...

Incredibly Well Made
I was happily surprised when this arrived. Construction is far better than I had hoped for, material is perfect thickness, and it doesn't really need an ironing after being laundered. I highly recommend looking at the size chart and getting accurate measurements. Many times it seems the higher price tag is only for the label but this time it was actually for better quality. I will absolutely be looking at this brand for my husband's wardrobe from now on.
