Easy and entertaining

Very easy to learn and quite enjoyable. Placing meeples in tiles that have short roads with monasteries or villages can block your view of the road leading to missplaced tiles without roads adjacent to these tiles. I still recommend this game, just leave enough space to clearly see the road in which the meeple is placed so that you quickly know another tile with roads must be adjacent to it.

Our family loves this game!

We should probably buy another second one so more people could play. It’s really easy to learn and it doesn’t take too long or too much strategy. There is some strategy but it’s mostly the luck of the draw.

Complex but fair

It may seem like a lot at first, but once you get the hang of it, this has tons of replay value. Expansions are worth it too.

Easy to learn and fun to play

Once you get the hang of it, it's like a puzzle with points, different every time. There is some strategy and there is the luck of the draw. I've only played a few times so I haven't played with fields or farmers yet, which looks fun also. The more you add (expansions), the more decisions you'll have to make. Probably will take longer with more decisions. My husband and I played the basic version in about 35 minutes.

OUR FAVORITE GAME

This game is so much fun. Easy to learn too. Because of the way the game is played, it feels totally different each time we play. We have only had it for a month and have played it more than 20 times! I only know this because we take a pic of the landscape of the game just for fun since it is different each time. I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes a good mix of strategy and chance!

Well designed, relatively simple board game that's actually FUN!

I know not everyone likes board game, but this appears to be something our whole family is happy playing without someone stropping off. (Yes, that's right, Monopoly is now BANNED in our home!). It's a relatively simple game which involves you placing randomly drawn tiles to try and built out features which make you points. The rules are easy, but the game can get more complex as you learn some tactics. Plus, there are supplementary packs you can buy to jazz your game up. You can play a game in 30-40 minutes, which means it's long enough to take a break from screens, but not so long every gives up the will to live. The tiles are all really nicely designed, so there's a nice tactile/arty side to this game too.

Great game , addictive

Love this game, good quality. We play this nearly everyday. Some strategy but now feel as if I need the extensions.

Fantastic game, works well with two or more players

Fantastic game, works well with two or more players. There are enough tiles for a good game, but not to many to make it long and drawn out. It takes some good thought and planning and this logic makes it a really fun game to play.

Great game, easy to learn, boardgame gateway drug

I got a great warehouse deal, definitely worth every penny, especially with the added mini abbot/river expansion. Great game to play with my missus, super easy to learn, lot's of replayability. I think all boardgamers should own a copy of this, tbh.
