Work outside

I work outside year round in the mid-south. Mostly our weather is summer time,but when it is cold,whew,it is cold. Like ice rain type weather. Good thing it dont last but a couple months. Those couple months I have learned to layer and to invest in thermal wear. I will say that 40 degrees, these Carharrt and a pair of very thin made uniform britches issued us are great. My real challenge will be Febuary when Memphis,TN winters catches up with the rest of the USA winters. Like I said their short but bone chilling, or I have just been in the south long enough that I have forgotten the Jack Frost of the Mid West. Any rate plan on updating this review when it is really cold

Elastic inside waistband rolls

I wouldnt buy these again or recommend them. The elastic sown within folded waistband fabric rolls. The fabric stays put, but the elastic rolls and it's a nuisance to make it straight.

Light to middleweight layer

Not a heavy base layer. Great for shoulder season. Super comfy. Manages moisture really well. Definitely recommend

Short, but otherwise nice.

It's nice, warm enough, but I'm 5'9" and these fit like capris. I was on my way to the mountains when they arrived, so I did not get to try them on before leaving - luckily my socks were tall enough to cover the exposed skin.

Not as expected

Base layer is Not heavy weight material, more like light/middle weight material. Not as warm as other sets I’ve ordered from Carhartt.. I have the base layer light gray and the rose color heavy weight material outfits and those are warm and amazing for Minnesota fall/winter/spring weather .

Wore this in the Appalachian Trail on cold nights at higher altitudes. They are comfortable and warm.

Cant wait to wear these! Fit is great for me. I wear a size 2 in Carhartt and these fit absolutely perfect! I paid less than $10 and they are a steal at that price!
