Came back for more

Around 3-4 years ago, I bought a pair of these from Amazon. Since then, I just physically wore them out. Recently I bought a new pair of the same brand intentionally. I'm a man in his mid-60's that enjoys cooking. And like most men, I get accused of not remembering that the hot oven racks can pull out (LOL). Have the burn scars to prove it. But these gloves help protect me from myself. The gloves come up about 3/4 up my forearms, and can handle very hot dishes for a reasonable amount of time. They have saved me many occasions when I put my hand down on a hot stove eye (duh !). These gloves are durable, but not indestructible. Yet they make me feel like I am. Great price for this protection too !

Not as flexible as I would like!

Bought two and they mostly work well but not as flexible as I would like! They may get more flexible with use, I will have to see!

Lasted two years, better than any others in my kitchen

I don't know if I cook a lot or am just hard on gloves, but so many of them have a blow out right around the knuckle. These are around the same price as most I tried, but lasted much longer.

No more burning my forearms

These oven mitts are great , but they are long, long, long. I have long arms and they go up all the way to my upper arms. They are a little stiff but overall I am very pleased since I used to burn my forearms a lot (while taking things out of the oven )due to regular oven mitts being too short, not anymore !

Great gift for cooks

Got this as a gift for my brother who loves to cook but always seems to burn himself, so the kids thought it would be a great Christmas present for him and it was a total win. Now it is near impossible for him to burn himself as they go almost all the way up his arms. ????????????

Right up to the Elbows

When reaching into a hot oven for the cookies, or roast, these gloves ensure you will remove just the food and not YOU!! Pulling the rack out to retrieve that pan in the back of the oven can destablilize the container and dump it all over you and the floor. No worries with these gloves.

Finally!!

We have been buying the "cute" oven mitts from places like Marshall's for years and although cute, they were never great quality and always a little snug jn my husband's hands. These are perfect! Longer to protect forearms, large enough foe husbands hands (but not too large for me) and really heat protective and well made. Maybe not the latest fashion, but they live in a drawer, so we are finally going with quality over style.

Quality,and affordable.

I love these oven mitts, they stand up to the heat, and are restaurant quality. Like any kind they are a little bulky at first but good for an average to larger size hand they are perfect. They are also very affordable, roughly 14.99 for a pair(2). Most other options are closer to 20-30$

Outside good. Inside horrible.

After 18 months, I am disappointed. The outside is great, clean & strong. Inside, it is coming apart. The lining is thin and breaking, freeing the cotton insulation. There are hot spots. It cannot stand up to fingernails. The lining is far too fragile. Check the lining before you buy any oven mitts.

Good for home use

Good gloves, but we went through 2 pairs in 4 months. They do not last in a high volume commercial baking environment. Switched to similarly priced silicone gloves and they seem to wear better so far.

Stiffer than normal gloves.

Very very stiff, like dried paint. Not very comfortable to use. You can pinch the thumb towards the 4 fingers but that's all. Not a great grip design.. they work, though not as I'd hoped.
