Carsonin MagniRead on 1,5-kertainen tehopalkin suurennuslasi. Best small magnifier ever
I am a person who can't read small print and have some textbooks that I have trouble seeing. This little thing has helped so much that I have ordered a total of 3. One for my school bag, one for home and one for my mother.

Needed this and no one has it.
Use this for work and it has been very helpful to read numbers I have diffuculy seeing. It works perfectly for what I need.

Works great, should come with a bag
Handy little thing for a work document I use multiple times that has microscopic print. But it's plastic, so it must be treated with care so as not to scratch. Would be 5 stars if it came with a protective bag or sleeve.

This magnifying bar has some great features: - built-in LED lights (two tiny bulbs that offer great lighting at 3 levels of intensity) - a very useful (yet not distracting) spot lens for hard-to-see, super-tiny print - sturdy construction and quality materials all over, including the sleek pouch - 2 rubberized grips to make holding it more comfortable - crystal clear acrylic The only 'cons', in my opinion, are: - the bar itself is not as wide/thick as I'd like it to be. It'd be nice if it could cover two or three lines of text at once, as opposed to one or two (depending on the font size you're reading). But other than that, it's definitely a keeper. - there's some minimal glare. I suppose this is due to the nature of all magnifying bars and something that can't be avoided. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't wish for less glare! All in all, a great buy at an affordable price.

Surprised and Delighted
I purchased this lighted magnifier for my computer room where I leave the lights off and the computer screen doesn't give enough light to read by. Not to mention the extremely small printing that has to go on every product now..... why do they even bother ? I bought it for the computer room but quickly found another use for it. At night I sometimes get up and stumble down my long hall way to the kitchen. The dog has taken to laying at the end of the corridor at the entrance to the kitchen. He sleeps there probably because of the cross breeze. When I get up in the night it scares the crap out of him thinking I'm going to forget he's there and fall all over him. It dawned on me that I could use the lighted magnifier to negotiate the hall way and save the dog some worry. Now I intend to buy another one to keep by the bed. Oh, and it works great for it's intended purpose too. I was surprised by the quality of magnification you get. Highly recommended product.

They work
While the Carson magnifiers are not sleek and "oh oh", they reliably work. Recently, I ordered the competing kind that are touch sensitive and look very fashionable. Unfortunately, they are also incredibly flaky. So, if your looking for a workhorse that, while a bit mundane, won't leave you in the dark; these are the ones to get.

Not quite large enough
It works okay for paperbacks but really need one that will work across the page of hardback books. Even better would be one that fit over the full length of a page. Most full page magnifiers have to be held about 4 inches above whereas this could rest on the page.

Easy to use
I didn't think I'd like the little handle thing, but I do. It makes it easier to hold than the ones that are just a straight bar. I plan to get more of these and plant them around the house for when my glasses just won't go that small -- like when trying to read ingredients lists on food packages. It would be helpful at the grocery store too. I've kept my packaging to use as a case, to keep it from getting scratched up. (You have to open it without wrecking the packaging if you want to do this.)

AMAZING
As someone who is young and has had to wear reading glasses from an early age, sometimes your glasses can’t make a big enough difference with long amounts of small text. This has helped me so much! The blue line also makes it easy to keep my eyes focused and keep me in track while I’m reading. I highly recommend this product. I wish it came with a protective pouch or something to keep it in for putting it in my bag.

No More Headaches
Ingenious invention! Now I can read my bank statements, etc. line by line without getting headaches. When you add batteries to the magnifier, you get an added bonus of three different densities of light. It also comes with a lovely, satiny bag. So very happy with it.
