I have 6 kids, so I needed a watch that can stand up to, well, anything. I find that I usually worry too much to wear a watch. It needs to be able to get wet (toddlers like to flush things), be able to get hit by a scooter, hold up to being abused a little. I finally found the watch! I have three complaints. One, the light looks so stupid. It glows this cheap yellow/orange. You can barely see the hands of the watch with the light. Forget seeing any of the digital display. For a nice watch, they should be able to fix that. It really would be better to have no light than the one it does have. Second, the digital display can be very hard to read in some lighting. It is a magenta color, that just, for whatever reason, isn't good contrast in shadows. And because the watch face is so deep, lots of shadows. So, right now, sitting at my computer with my watch on my wrist, I have to turn the watch in a certain way to see the digital display. I considered returning it for this reason alone, but decided it wouldn't be that big of a deal and I was basically choosing aesthetics over function. Third, no second hand on the analog display. I know this sounds weird, since there is a digital second countdown. But as a former nurse, I am just so used to looking at the second hand, it takes some adjustment to get used to a watch without it. Now, they good stuff. It fits perfectly. Not too big. Not too small. Substantial but not cumbersome. The buckle on the wrist lays completely flat so it isn't stabbing me or cutting off circulation. Comfy band. The colors are awesome. Very unique and pretty. The white matches most outfits. It is unbelievably easy to set up. Just set your time zone and it automatically sets itself. The signal feature is perfect for me! I have zero concept of time. This watch will beep twice every hour on the hour. That really helps me keep up with how much time I am spending doing something. It has 5 alarm spots you can set! 5! One alarm spot is snoozeable. (It will go off every 5 minutes 7 times.) The other 4 alarm spots are one time alarms. You can alarm to wake you. Alarm to remind you that dinner should be started by now or you'll be in trouble later! Plenty of alarm spots! It has other features- world time, stop watch, timer- and I'm sure I'll use the timer and stop watch at some point- but I am not as excited about those features. I love being able to look at my watch and see the day and the date. It is such a little thing, but I don't have to take out my phone for those simple things and then get distracted because, well, phone! This watch is beautiful, functional, and keeps me productive.
