Love the sweater, dislike the unraveling knit sleeves

Great fit and incredibly flattering both on the hanger and person. Provides a nice layer of warmth in mildly cool weather (50-60 degrees). 3 stars because the sleeves are knit and have began to "unravel". Have always washed on delicate cycle, inside out and got two months out of 2-3 times per week use out of it before reitiring it for barn and very casual use.

Loved the color but the size was just too snug ...

Loved the color but the size was just too snug for my comfort. Returned this purchase and was blown away how simple it was to return. The refund was reflected immediately. Very, very impressed (and I am passing this info on to others).

Perfect!

Love this pullover!! Even better in person. I bought the ivory and it is stunning. Perfect casual preppy look. Love the pockets! I would say it is true to size. I'm usually a medium to large and I ordered the large. The large offers me a roomier fit-exactly what I expected. Can't wait to order in more colors!!

Charles River Pullover with Four Snap Placket Opening

A soft medium-heavyweight knit casual top accented with four pewter-colored metal riveted snaps. The fabric is soft and comfortable easy-care knit combination of 40 percent polyester 60 percent cotton and it is thick enough to work well as a winter or fall garment. The top has raglan-style sleeves that extend past the shoulder seam all the way to the neckline. And, an unusual feature are two inseam reasonably deep side pockets--one on either side of the garment. I usually wear a medium but the large size fit well so moving up a size may be wise. From the top of the shoulder the garment is 28 inches long in the front with an additional inch of length in the back. The sleeves are approximately 25 inches long measured from the top of the shoulder to cuff. The stand-up collar measures two inches. The placket opening is 8 1/2 inches long. The bottom hem is 3/4 inches, the cuffs have a1 inch hem and the neck opening placket is 1 inch in width. Because the fabric is a cotton-polyester blend, shrinkage should be minimal if care instructions are followed. Wash in cold water with like colors on gentle cycle, non-chlorine bleach as needed and tumble dry low. Remove promptly from dryer and use cool iron if needed. A quality basic garment, accurately sized, comfortable to wear, well-constructed and neatly finished.

Nice pullover but sleeves are a little stiff for me.

I really like this pullover! I haven't tried Charles River clothes before, and I'm really happy with this. I really like the fit, it's very comfortable and lightweight. The color is true to its picture. One thing the picture doesn't emphases is that it has pockets on each size that are about the depth as any jacket. I like that around the neck, instead of buttons they're snaps which I sometimes find easier to put together. The sleeves have the texture like they're inside out which I thought was a unique feature. I found the sleeves a little irritating because they are a little too stiff to roll up, which is important because I get wet sleeves while doing dishes or they get in the way while cooking.

Good Cover For a Breezy Day

Just right for a breezy day, the Charles River Falmouth Pullover provides a good effortless cover that pairs well with leggings. I can't say this is the most flattering design as it flairs out at the hips and has a dowdy fit. The style itself is conservative and if that's what you're looking for, this might be your pullover. The fabric has a weave that is slightly textural, but fairly comfortable and easy going. The color is a nice navy that's true to the product page photo. My wife got a large that fits her size 8-10/36 bust just fine, but I think it would have been too short if she went with medium (per size chart). When in doubt, size up. Overall, I like the Charles River Pullover and think it's a good value for a decently made garment. But I don't love it. It's adequate and does keep the 60 degree chill out, but beyond that it's nothing special. ~ Kort

Sporty

This casual shirt has a sporty vibe. the fabric is comfortable but thinner than I expected. The snaps are cute and work well. I really do't like shirts that are closed around the neck and the snaps let you keep it open and still look good. I am tall so the body and sleeve length was appreciated. Machine wash cold on the gentle cycle and tumble dry low.

Clingy and undersized, but functional, if not overpriced

From my Daughter: It's too tight for the size. The polyester makes it cling, but not always in a flattering way. Basically, if you have a normal or larger breast size, this is a quick pass. The color is unique, some might even consider it a "power" color as it has a masculine quality to it, but I don't think that is either good or bad. The case against it is found mainly in the price. If you can get it for under $20 its an okay purchase, perhaps even a good one for under $15, but anything more $20 with shipping and the price and expected quality is a mismatch.
