Soft Fabric Beautiful Design

The fabric of this comforter is so soft and the design is classy and modern. There were lots of pillows which added to the "dressing up" of the bedroom. While the dimensions of the comforter are pretty standard, it is a bit short for beds with very deep mattresses however, the arrangement of the pillows covers the lack of length at the head of the bed. Beautiful, beautiful bedspread so it was a mystery to me why there were two inch long tacking stitches in black at various points around the comforter. The back of the comforter is black but on the topside, the black stitching was in the white and gray fabric sections. I used a seam ripper to remove the tacking on the white and gray. I wish they would have used white or gray for the top threads so the tacking could be done while matching the fabric.

Great design, but the material feels a bit cheap.

I love the design and size of this over-sized comforter set. My main concern with the product is that the fabric is a very thin polyester that feels as though it can be ripped fairly easily. I also noticed there are several loose threads that seemed to multiply after I washed it the first time. The pillows are great, but arrived wrinkly and kind of flat due to being stuffed in the bag which is to be expected, but I had to throw them in the dryer with a wet towel to get them to retain their shape and fluff up a bit better. The stitching on one of the pillows looks to be messed up a bit but it's not terribly noticeable so I didn't worry about it too much. Overall the whole ensemble looks great on the bed and It's a great improvement to the room.

Budget Comforter Set- nice pattern but could be made better

Nice pattern but not as high quality looking as the image. The comforter is not highly made or sewn. In fact visible threads can be seen. This was already visible upon unpacking. Colors are nice and pattern is lovely just wished it was made a little better.

Pretty and soft

This comforter was very pretty. Looks like it was made well. It is a lighter comforter, looked great on my bed. I would guess it cost more than it did. I returned simply because it didn't match my bedroom. There description said gray, but it was much more taupe. Return was free and easy, thanks to Amazon and Kohls.

Quality

It is as shown, the problem I have it that there are several loose threads which will be a problem at some point, I am just hoping it holds up. It is very warm and comfortable.

Nice set.

Nice comforter for guest room, definitely had to cut alot of strings and threads to make it look better. Would buy again because it seems to be pretty thick and looks warm.

Great Design But Poor Craftsmanship & Materials Make This Set Sub Par.

Around this time of year it's usually time for us to change out the bedding for the Master and Guest rooms. Over the years I've found exceptional quality comforters and comforter sets on Amazon and this is the first one we've been displeased with. The design and overall look is striking and dramatic, however as other reviewers have commented the workmanship and finishing is poor. The stitching was found to be uneven with loose threads virtually everywhere causing an uneven distribution of the Poly Fill. Another and perhaps the most glaring problem is the Feel of the comforter. It's cheap to the touch especially on the underside where there's a layer of scratchy Polyester Chiffon that isn't attached particularly well and crinkles both in sound and touch. On a positive note the Shams are nice and seem quite well made. We don't use a bed skirt but one is included. As for the accent pillows they're fine for what they are but two of them are ridiculously small. Not a deal breaker by any means had the rest of the pieces been of decent quality. I had hesitated with this set because I've never found the "Bed in a Bag" concept to offer the same quality as purchasing just a well made and known brand comforter without all the extra bells and whistles. Like fine audio equipment you're always better off with buying each components separately. Perhaps not the best analogy but I hope you get the point I'm trying to make. Certainly the price point is right however that said, a value is only a value at any price if the product meets or exceeds your expectations. In the case of this comforter set, as appealing to the eye as it may be it's simply not worth the price or hassle. If you're on search as I was for a modern yet transitional design I suggest taking a pass and continue looking.
