Best bottles we’ve bought!

I breast feed and pump/supply formula for my son. Our son wasn’t the picky one- it was me. I didn’t like how the plastic bottles discolored in the steamer, the glass advent bottles were too heavy for both baby and me. And a lot of the wide mouthed bottles silicone or otherwise had nipples that touted most similar to breastfeeding but my lactation consultant said it promotes a shallow latch with my son. So she recommended the Pigeon nipples on Amazon and I found these bottles with the best of both worlds. The nipples these come with are strange like you have to hold the baby to the side to get the vent hole to align to the ceiling and there’s almost like clamp marks at the base so it cannot be roared in their mouth it has to be left and right a particular way. I would recommend switching them out like we have. But I like the glass interior. We’ve sanitized them daily for over a month now with no discoloration. The plastic outside is safe from drops while the glass interior gives me the peace of mind that no chemicals are leaching into his milk when we warm it up, and it’s the weight of a regular plastic bottle. Win/win.

Great bottle - be careful sterilizing!

I bought these bottles to minimize milk contact with plastics. They are super light and feel just like plastic - can't tell there's any glass. The level 1 nipple shape and flow is good for infants, my baby likes it. There's only the standard 4 pieces to wash making it easy to clean. The one thing I would note is to be very careful when sterilizing the bottle before first use. i used the boiling in a pot method: they warn you to keep the plastics away from the sides of the pot. I was trying to do multiple pieces at a time and wasn't paying enough attention and some of the pieces melted a bit. I would recommend a different sterilization method.

These are the only bottles thar I can get my baby to actually get all the milk with. Otherwise he spits most of it out. We love these bottles!

Only bottles for me (and baby)

Perfect! I saw these bottles in a magazine ad and had to have them. Haven't had baby drop test due to only 3 months in so far but bottles are light, easier to hold, nice soft nipple and slow level 1 flow nipple, and easy clean. I love the inner glass concept. For those that have collapse issues there is a little air flow hole in the side lip of the nipple that you need to line up with the semi circle cut out of the bottle rim to allow the air to release along with the baby letting air out into the bottle. The nipple will collapse if baby has a death grip on the sucking hahahaha. Once I started lining up those holes I haven't had a collapse nipple issue so the bottle design is not flawed.

Love these

These are a fan favorite in our household. Our baby loves them and took to them without hesitation. They didn't cause any "nipple confusion" or issues with breastfeeding. Plus, we feel better knowing that the milk isn't being exposed directly to plastic. they are lightweight and shatterproof which makes them very easy for baby to learn to hold on their own. I recommend these to everyone who asks for bottle recommendations!

Love these but they DO break

Chicco bottles are by far my favorite brand. My almost 10 month baby doesn't have any issues with it. Its wide neck makes it easy to clean, the flow is just right (not too fast/drippy, not too slow). The issue I have with these bottles is that they do break–my 10 month old is now at the stage where she likes to swipe things to the floor from her high chair. Unfortunately three of the 9 oz. Chicco bottles have succumbed to her "swipes" in the last two months. I can't really justify buying more of this brand, as much as I love it. I just know there are plastic bottles out there that aren't as fragile to baby drops as this brand is.
