Cheap but not practical

It is by all technicalities waterproof as in protecting the mattress, problem is unlike most other protectors, this requires you wash it after EVERY incident. I got this for a pet that get a little too excited and while this is keeping my mattress from getting wet, the protector has a fuzzy layer that absorbs liquids making it impossible to just wipe away with a rag. Last protector I had was noisy but it was essentially a tarp that you could wipe anything off of and throw some fresh sheets over, this is not. Only thing this has going for it is the price. If your incidents only happen once in a blue moon this will work fine. If they happen almost daily, spend a little more and buy a better one. EDIT: I tried using it inside out since I normally have a sheet over it anyway and it works much better now. Only issue is now its a lot noisier but still quieter than some others I've tried. I added a star to my review.

It’s.. okay. Does the job it’s intended for?

I read that it’s suppose to be soft so it doesn’t affect sleep and comfort. But it’s really not.. I was going to put another sheet over it. On top of that it’s quite loud. I can hear my son and husband roll over in the other room.

The product is very flimsy. I almost tore it putting it on the mattress.

Nice, but not even close to 21" deep.

On the positive side, this mattress protector seems to be well made. The top "protector" surface fits a queen-size mattress perfectly and lays nice and smooth. I washed it once before using and nothing fell apart. It seems comfortable enough under the sheets. I don't need 100% waterproof-ness, so I haven't tested that. However, and this is the entire reason behind my only 3-star rating, the advertised "21 inch depth" is an outright lie. Completely, utterly false. My mattress is 15" deep (really 14" at the edges, puffing up to 15" a few inches in from the edge) and this BARELY fits down over it securely. It would NOT properly fit a mattress even 1 inch deeper. On a 21" mattress, the sides of this cover would stop fully 5" short of even reaching the bottom, let alone wrapping under it. JUST ADVERTISE IT AS 15 INCHES DEEP. Lying about the depth does nothing but anger your customers when that lie becomes glaringly obvious. Or, even better, bump the price up by 5% and actually make the product fit the depth you advertise.
