Ok I admit I should have bought these sooner

I bought size 10 wide. I have a very wide foot and absolutely no arch….flat as a duck’s foot. Buying shoes has always been a nightmare. My podiatrist has been trying to get me to wear Rockports for decades, since my teens. As a young woman, there was no way I was wearing some ugly old lady shoes. Now as a not-so-young woman, I’m too cheap to drop $100 on a pair of shoes. But following a fall I had almost a year ago, I was having a difficult time with my knees and ankles and walking was challenging. One of my doctors said my “gait” may be off and I should buy different shoes. I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t know what the heck he was talking about and I was frankly getting irritated at so many of my doctors being so obsessed with my daggum shoes! So I went ahead and ordered these thinking I had just thrown money away on shoes that I was going to hate that wouldn’t change anything. Well I’ll say this, there must be something to this gait thing and shoes play a bigger role in it than I ever realized. I am walking without knee and ankle pain again and I’m finally able to be balanced and steady on my feet after more than a year of issues and thinking it would never get better. So I was wro…..ok I just can’t say it. But I was definitely that w word.

Smaller than last pair ordered

Had to return. This pair was much smaller in fit than the last 3 pairs of the exact same shoe i ordered. All labels matched, so not sure if someone created a good looking knock off, or if it was a fluke. Sad, cause i love these shoes.

Good Fit - Bit expensive

Fit and color are good. Not as high quality as my old Clarks, but I couldn't find what I was looking for in that brand right now. Between surgery and physical therapy, the way I walked changed to the point where I have to get all new shoes or I'm undoing the therapy :(. Bit of a panic because I depend on my shoes. I want to be able to go walk a couple of miles in whatever I've got on at the time without getting sores. These should do it while still passing for business casual.

Great work shoes

Great work shoes. The wide model does fit big (as expected). Lots of space to add an insole with extra support if you have extra high arches. This is my second pair of these shoes and I love them. Look classy, feels good, stands up to daily use for a long time. Not bad for walking either (30 min or so at least).
