Toilet Seat

Not as nice as I expected from the reviews. It is a little thin... like if you sat on it you can feel it give. But very well made and closes great and silently. Cleans nicely. Would just like to see it a little firmer.

Its a toilet seat!

Slow closes just fine. Maybe a bit too slow. Plastic does not seam as thick as a previous slow close seat I had (can't remember the brand). The seat itself is comfortable enough (angle or flatness of seat, width and opening size). One star taken away because when in the full open position it doesn't go completely back, i.e. back to the point where it rests against the toilet lid. Just kind of sways back and forth around the vertical position. Nothing that affects functionality in any way just personally I would like it better if it leaned all the way back against the toilet or close to it. Great for the price and would buy again if/when I need another one. Once you go soft close you may never go back. Just be careful when you go to friends' houses. Have more than once forgot that not everyone has slow close toilet lids and ended up creating quite a racket when you push the lid closed and it just slams down.

is really lightweight

it is so lightweight that it kinda feels cheap but so far it seems well made. I'm just used to ones that are a bit more solid. But it does close smoothly

Great Toilet Seat, just not for Kohler

I love the quality and function of these seats. We have some of this brand on other toilets and they are the best most comfortable toilet seats we have. Unfortunately, I purchased these for a Kohler toilet and they do not match the white color. They are more suited for American Standard white, so they were returned. 4 star because they should denote their color match in the description.

Comfy but...

The quick disconnect comes lose easily, so the seat slides. A bit unnerving to feel the seat slide sideways. I've had this seat awhile but in relearning ya get whatcha pay for. Im ready to get another one.

Seat Replaced ~ Defective unit: Shifts, Moves and Slams

Update: Received replacement seat a few minutes ago from amazon.com.. I was able to remove defective seat and install new working seat with a screw driver.. All is well.. Returning defective seat to amazon.com per their request.. Plumber installed Comfort Seats C1B3E7S-00 EZ Close Standard Plastic Toilet Seat, Elongated onto new American Standard 2034..014..020 Champion-4 Right Height One-Piece Elongated Toilet, and from the onset the right side of the top of the seat would not attach to the seat.. One day later and the right side of the seat is also disengaged so now the seat shifts and moves and when the unit is lowered it bangs against the toilet.. While the bang is not nearly as loud as previous plastic or wood seats, it remains annoying because it is not supposed to slam.. Problem: The plastic bar will not engage the top and will not remain in contact with the seat.. (Hopeful) Solution: Amazon is shipping a new seat.. Otherwise, the seat fits and is an aesthetic match for the toilet..

Weak hinges

Broke in less than a week. The hinges, specifically the way the screws attach to them, are incredibly week. I’ve never seen a design like this and it could definitely use significant improvement.

Not EZ Close

This toilet seat seems to be of good quality, however, it is not EZ Close. I have not installed it yet because I haven't decided if I am keeping it. I ordered 2 toilet seats and the other one is EZ Close. I may use this one on one of my other toilets but I haven't decided yet.

Disappointed

We find the inside edge of the seat is not comfortable. Almost cuts into your legs & butt. The covers of the screws are a chore to clean. Wish we had returned it
