very nice quality for the price
I like the Coppertone Sport because it is moisturizing, but not greasy and does not leave any residue. I rated the "scent" feature at five-star because it does not have any, and I like unscented products. I rated "water resistance" at three-star because I do not swim, and had no experience with the product in that respect, but did not want to be either too positive or less than neutral. My recommendation: do not look any further.

Only sunscreen I buy
My famiy loves this stuff - it's the only sunscreen I buy! We used to use the less expensive stuff from Target, but this works much better for preventing sunburn, especially for outdoor workouts!

Reliable, good value
I have been using Coppertone Sport Sunscreen for the longest time. It is a sunscreen that doesn't seem to get in my eyes when I am sweating. Thus, I don't experience stinging eyes which I have experienced with other. The scent appears to be neutral which is good even though I don't necessarily mind a sunscreen with fragrance. Also, this sunscreen doesn't stain my clothes which has happened to me with other sunscreens. If by accident I get some of this sunscreen on my shirt, it does seem to wash out when I put in the washing machine (and doesn't have to be put in the machine immediately) Lastly, this has protected me against sunburn. I like spf 30 for most the year but usually go up to spf 50 for the summer.

A favorite
This is our go-to sunscreen. It has an 2020 EWG (ewg.org) safety rating of 3 (where a 1 is safest but often difficult to find and often too expensive and a 10 is the worst safety rating). We love that is not too thin or thick, so it goes on easily, and it works into your skin without leaving you white or greasy, has a neutral pleasant smell, stays on well in the water (up to 80 minutes), and is accessible (has a decent price around $1 per ounce and is easy to find in many local grocery and drug stores). It is the one my kids grab out of the pile every time! And the only reason there is a pile is that I am trying to find a sunscreen rated 1 or 2 by EWG that has all of the properties of Coppertone SPORT 30. The search continues....

Not perfect, but my go-to sunscreen
I've been buying this stuff for years...it's my go-to sunscreen. The good: I can apply it once before going to the beach and i'm protected all day. Take a trip or two into the ocean...yep, still good. I never re-apply unless i'm spending 6-8+ hours at the beach including multiple trips in the water...and even then it seems unnecessary. The not-so-good: I don't actually get any tan in 4-5 hours in the sun. I usually wind up spending the first hour at the beach without sunscreen, and then putting it on just so i get a tan. lol...such is life. It's annoying to scrub off, but i guess that's part of the point. I don't find the smell particularly pleasant but it's not as bad as others by a long measure.

Excellent protection!
Took this to a week-long beach trip. Excellent protection. I never got burned. I've used other brands and have noticed re-application was more frequent than this one, so you get more bang for your buck on this purchase. I didn't go into the water too much, nor did I sweat a lot, so I can't speak to its waterproof level, but I was on the beach in full sun for about 5 hours each day and never got a burn. Great product. I'll be back for more!

Smooth and not Thick or Gross-feeling
Actually does work like a lotion. Not thick and tacky or gross-feeling. Goes on smooth and invisible. No white-cast as far as I can tell. Smells good too, better than the regular and obvious sunscreen smell. My favorite body sunscreen rn.
