Be Careful, you cannot get replacement clip ends anymore.

The handle latch that holds the clip-on utensils doesn't stay shut well and there is nothing holding the clips in to that pocket, so if it opens, they will come out. It's also worth noting that when I attempted to order more of the clips I was informed that the manufacturer has deemed the clips to be "obsolete" and thus is no longer making them. While the measure and tape are excellent, the inability to get replacement clips makes this rather expensive unit an absolutely terrible purchase. FYI, if you have kids, keep them away from this, they will play with it when you're not looking and lose your clips in the woods and then you'll be all sad because you spent all this money and don't even have the ability to use it properly.

Well made - Fast Rewind

This is the best built 300' tape measure I have tried. It is a bit heaver than the other brands I have tired, but I do like the fact that it re-winds 3X faster than the others. I like the two sided tape measure, and the attachable ends (you get to pick from four, or at least I did). There is a storage container in the handle for the different ends, but make sure it is locked and closed properly or you may lose the ends due to the handle coming open. I do like the steel rod you can put into the ground when you are measuring something by yourself, just change the end and your in business. I also find the extra long end handy when trying to measure something on a windy day. It gets enough bite to hold on. You can get magnetic ends as well, but they are sold separately. All in all this is a high quality tape measure, that re-winds quickly, doesn't kink very often, and is easy to use, and very adaptable. The only drawback is that it's a bit heavy, other than that, I love it.

Missing storage handle.

Great long tape. Only problem I have is right out of the box the storage handle was missing. Not broke and in box but missing.

Never received it.

The small package I received only had the end clips inside with a minimum shipping weight for the size of package (1.2#). The tape rule I ordered weighs 4.8 pounds. I was instructed to return what I received, which I did. I also followed up by phone and was assured of getting credit for it. I have not.

Seems to be a trend of sending out units with broken and missing parts.

Not inspiring a ton of confidence. Like one reviewer said, you can’t get the attachments anymore. True, as mine were missing (and those were part of the reason for choosing this tape over others, to begin with). And like another reviewer, my storage handle was also broken. I’m sending it back and buying one at 1/3 the price.

Sturdy and we love it!

This is a GREAT tape measure!!!! We have a farm and have had several of these in other brands. They were cheap and our last one broke the first time we used it. We were seriously impressed by how sturdy this one is. We also love the 3:1 gear ratio for winding it up. Who knew you could love a tape measure so much!

Best in class

Have two of these that are used daily laying out and painting parking lots. Faster retrieval with three to one ratio. Not bad to hang up as you are extending. Best we have found in 12 years.
