Nice profile

I like the look and capacity of this teakettle. I wanted one that whistles but hoped for one that wasn't too shrill. This one is shrill, in my opinion. On the plus side, it's loud - you'll hear it and avoid boiling it dry. I'll keep it happily enough - it has a good capacity and I like the profile, color, handle, ease-of-use... it's pretty good overall.

Good design and functions Well

This is a great tea kettle for the money. It looks great on the stove, and functions well while in use. The whistle is loud, the handle stays cool, and the knob to open the spout lies just under your thumb when holding the handle — just where it should be. It’s well, balanced, light, and easy to use.

Looks good and whistle is not too annoying

It's a nice looking tea pot. The whistle isn't too loud. You can actually tell when it's about to start whistling and turn it off beforehand. I've used it several times now and I haven't noticed any rust like some other tea pots. It has a nice, sleek design. The handle doesn't get too hot. I have not had to use a mitt to pick it up after heating up water. The mechanism for opening the pour spout is a little clunky. Sometimes it seems as if it doesn't want to stay open in the "lock" position but it's not a big deal. I would buy again.

Attractive design, but Whistles Only Once in a Blue Moon

Review at six months....

3 1/2 stars. Standing up to my daily abuse. I purchased this kettle at the beginning of Dec 2021. I am admittedly- very, rough on this kettle. First, the water in my community is so hard. Second, I have a gas stove and I always boil on high. (I'm impatient.) I routinely "forget" to empty the kettle each day; so water just sits in it. I wash it about once a week. Once every other week or so, I put a quart of Vinegar in it & wipe it down to remove the accumulated hard water buildup. Vinegar also removes any & all rust that sometimes accumulates on the rim under the lid. Considering how I treat it, I like this kettle a lot! I love the shape and wide opening for washing. For some reason, one side of the kettle is much more discolored (I assume from high heat & open flame) than the other side. Obviously, high open flame is not so great for this kettle. (Maybe that's on instructions I never read.) All of the components are still fine. I really don't think that there is any kettle of any price range that could remain pristine the way I use it. I am tough on all of my cookware. Because I like the shape so much, I'd probably buy this again. For safety, I ALWAYS use a potholder. It's boiling! It's HOT! Be safe.

Nice quality and look

Nice kettle for one to two people. Not an ideal size if one was entertaining and needed water for 3+ people. The water really bubbles/splatters out when pouring immediately after boil. My old kettle didn’t Splatter out like this one.

High-Gloss Finish, Not Matte

Works great, good size. Quite durable. Only complaint is that the image makes it look matte, when in fact it is a high-gloss finish. Love it all the same though.

Solid quality

Solid quality, nice weight and audible whistle without it being a high screeching pitch. Also like the locking mechanism of the spout to keep it open if needed.
