If you need to control vertical, as with a bike rack, then add a "U" style anti rattle device also.

Really stops the rattle

This hitch pin locks everything into place and stops the slop in hitch assembly. It works great! I’ve got a Chevy 2500 HD and ordered the wrong hitch pin set the first time. It held everything into place just fine but I decided to order the larger pin assembly set. I feel more comfortable hauling my double axle enclosed trailer. Here’s what I’m saying… Curt offers 2 sizes. The smaller size will work fine if your just pulling a small open trailer but I’d order the larger diameter pin set if you’re pulling anything larger. Just make sure it fits the pin hole in your receiver.

Works great, easy to install

I’ve used a few different hitch stabilizers and this one seems to work the best for me. Very easy to install and remove.

Well suited for purpose. Game changer for receiver-hitch towing.

Well done, easy to use (as long as you carry wrenches to remove hitch). Hitch usage is now a whole new ballgame - steady and quiet. This hardware is a must-have.

Not simple to install

The interior metal unit slid within the hollow metal hitch and did not fit the hole. The tightening screw was so large none of my sockets were large enough. Seems to be well made, but not user friendly. No directions.

Stops lateral wobble

Works great for lateral wobble, but doesn't prevent my hitch carrier from rocking up and down. I had to purchase a ubolt device for that.
