Does exactly what you expect

Install was very easy if you've ever done any automotive work. I could replicate the functionality on my own, but for the price, this plug and play harness makes it not at all worth it to look at wiring diagrams, source my own components, and splice any wires. Anyone with a lick of confidence could get through this in about 15 minutes, or 5 minutes if you're already good with trim clips. If this was the first thing you ever attempted on your own car, i say go for it. Easier than an oil change, really.

Works for 2015 Elantra

Used a long screw driver to remove the plastic snaps that hold the center and side panels in place. Reading the instructions will let you which color wire goes where, but the longer wire runs to the passenger side and shorter goes to the driver's side. Had to drill a small hole for the green wire.

Easy install

The “crimping” harness came with the trailer. That was junk. Never worked properly and took a while to install. This installed in just a few minutes and works perfectly. I wish I knew about this 5 years ago. In process of buying this I also discovered “Amazon Garage”. That is great.

Easy as 1-2-3

I was doubtful it was going to be that easy. The install took as much time as opening up the package. VERY easy to install in a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Do keep in mind as you tow the wiring will hang out the trunk, unless you drill a hole in the trunk liner and caulk. I will suggest this product in the future.

Works great, simple to install

This T-connector makes installation easy. No cutting or splicing wires. The hardest part was just popping off the covers that lined the back of the trunk. I installed mine so that the wiring harness stores in the spare tire wheel well when not in use. In the 2011 Elantra there is plenty of space down there for the wiring and the receiver to be stored together.

Super quick install without splicing any of my car's wires.

What a terrific product. I was fully prepared to splice into my car's tail light wiring until I found this idiot-proof solution available for my Hyundai Elantra. Connectors match those factory installed behind my taillights. The only extra thing I needed to do was connect a ground wire to a metal spot in my trunk with a self tapping screw. In minutes, I have a correctly wired, functioning 4-pin trailer plug to connect to a utility trailer. And if there is ever a need, I can uninstall it and return the system back to how it was originally. No cut wires, electrical tape, or bad joints.

5 minute install !

by far the easiest harness to install. took about 5 minutes to install using the quick connect plugs. It took me longer to find the drill bit to drill the hole than it did to install the whole harness after ! Installed on my 2012 elantra gls.
