happy with purchase

Curt is known for high quality items across the entire product line. I've purchased receivers, hitches, a variety of trailer components but this is the first harness that I've acquired. True to form, a quality product. The finger pull\push tabs are a nice feature.

Inexpensive

I needed to rewire a trailer harness, this option was cheaper to decapitate the receiver end and splice then buying equivalent trailer specific harness. These also come in handy for vehicles like mine, where for pin connector is buried underneath the truck, and the stock harness does not reach

Really long - but it works for me!

A guy at Uhaul once told me not to slam my car's wiring in the hatch (I have a crossover) - but to take the wires from the trailer and slam them in the hatch instead. "It's lots cheaper to replace the wires on a trailer than the wires in your car!" he said. And he's totally right! I haven't forgotten that tip. I recently bought my first trailer, and the trailer wiring has a conduit around it that makes it less conducive to slamming it in the hatch. So, I bought this extension (and a super short one) to slam in the hatch so the car's wiring stays inside car, and the trailer's wiring stays outside the car! If I have to replace this extender, it'll be an easy fix. This is much longer than I actually need at 72" (I would have liked 24" but could not find that), but it'll do the trick.

Used this to rewire my trailer

Used this short pig tail to rewire my trailer plug as my old one had failed wiring that was cheap copper clad aluminum that had corroded within the insulation nearly the entire length of the wire. This wire is sturdy solid copper and should hold up to many years of use.

Good product

The insulation on the wires seems of high quality and is comparable to any other trailer wiring product I’ve used. I’ve only used this for a few weeks, so I can’t speak to long term reliability, but no issues so far, and I see no reason that any issues would arise. The plugs on each end are well-formed with no injection molding defects; this means that they connect to other plugs easily but also hold the connection firmly.

Great product price on point

Needed to extend my trailer harness. This was cheaper then the other stores and same quality. This also has both connecting ends so I did not have to splice anything.
