They do what I want them to do!

These tights are exactly what they are supposed to be. I've washed them and she's danced in them half a dozen times and they have held up well..no runs or pulls. I do not know how they would be for heavy use (like someone who dances every day) which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. My daughter is a size 10 in most clothes and these fit perfectly as long as I stretch them as I'm pulling them up. My daughter doesn't like these tights because she said they make her legs itch and "prickle" when she's dancing and getting hot, but that is my daughter and not the product. I mention this in case you have a child who has sensitive skin, or suffers from skin rashes like eczema. They may not like the feel of these as they are not soft like a microfiber.

Great tights

Ordered these for my 7 year old who typically wears a size 6X/7. The fit great at the waist, but bunch a bit at the ankle. She's of normal height for her age, but is thin. The quality is wonderful. These are a nice, heavy weight that don't run or catch easily. With the regular "panty hose" for her age group, we get one wear and they're in the trash. She has worn these repeatedly and they still look new. While not manufacturer recommended, I also wash these in the machine and they have done beautifully being washed that way. (Cold, delicate, hang dry) The shimmer is not excessive, but just enough that my little one gets that, "Princess" feel that her age group wants to have. I will be ordering more of these!

but she is happy with them

Fit my 46 inch, 43 lb 5 year old well. They are not quite as shimmery as I expected, but she is happy with them. After only a few uses, they are starting to snag a bit, but considering that she is not careful in them, I guess that's pretty good. They do make her itch, but I'm pretty sure that would happen with any tights she wore.

Cute and durable

My daughter loves these tights. They have a slight shimmer to them that makes her very happy. This was our second pair as she outgrew her first ones. We have found them to be durable and to remain looking nice after several events.

tight waistband

The tights appear to be well made. Not too shimmery. My daughter wouldn't wear them however because she said the waistband was uncomfortable. It is probably fine for most people, but if your kid doesn't like tight fitting things I would order a size up.

Dance recital perfect

Not too shimmery, not too dull. Perfect material that does not snag. Good for 8 year olds to pull on and off themselves. It's a good product, I will purchase it again.
