THE BEST SMELLING HAIR PRODUCTS ON THE PLANET

I have been using hair products for MANY years. Davines OI is by far the best smelling and makes your hair so shiny and healthy amount of bounce! Vibrant hair! The hair scent is super fabulous! I use the scented spray after hot yoga if I have to be somewhere I never want my hair to smell like sweat or that smell you can tell when people have not washed their hair the spray dissipates hair smell!!

I adore this stuff!

My new hair dresser always used this on my hair whenever I visited. I live on the coast so frizz is a real thing. I finally decided to get some so I could use it every time I washed my hair. Nothing will work perfect with our humidity levels but this is by far the best product I have used. It keeps my hair soft and not brittle. It also keeps the frizz to a min. The smell when you first spray it is a little odd but as it dries I really like how it smells. I have gotten several compliments on that alone.

Adds a nice moisturizing softness to my curls!

The reviews on here were pretty mixed so I decided to try this product for myself after seeing it on a list of best curly hair products of 2020. I have a larger curl type, and very thick hair prone to frizz. So I can't attest to any other hair-type, but hopefully this helps some curly-haired people out there. I recently pulled the trigger on curly bangs (maybe out of quarantine-boredom?) and I don't know how long I'll keep them but I needed to switch up my routine so they don't look crazy all the time. So here's what I'm doing now, on wash days I shampoo + condition my hair with COLD water. If you have curly hair and you're still using hot water on your head - STOP RIGHT NOW. Lol only use cold water. Then after I've rinsed out the conditioner I use a MICROFIBER towel. Gently squeeze as much water as you can out of your hair. Then while hair is still wet, but mostly towel dried so it's not dripping, I spray the Davines All In One Milk all over my hair, making sure to get the underneath layers (I have so much thick hair). I do about the 10-15 sprays as suggested - sometimes more. I can see if you have thinner hair, this can feel greasy pretty quickly so keep in mind a little goes a long way. It really is a milky consistency. But if you have thick hair like mine, just go for it. It doesn't make my hair feel greasy at all. Then I comb it through my damp hair with a wide-tooth comb and finally flip over my hair to scrunch with my hands. Unfortunately this is not the ONLY product I use, so if you're looking for a miracle one-stop product, it really doesn't work like that for me. Which is why I gave it 4 starts instead of 5. I still then use a dollop of mousse (I use Goldwell) and a dime-size amount of R+Co motorcycle flexible gel that I spread all over my hands evenly and gently run through just to tame frizz. The first day I tried Davines, as an experiment I used ONLY that after showering and it did not work for me, it was soft as heck but still very frizzy. I still have to use my other products to get the nice, soft frizz-less curls that I really want. But I think starting with Davines "preps" my hair for the other products and helps seal in the moisture. I'm on day 3 after washing and the curls have mostly stayed in tact and my hair is incredibly soft! On non-wash days I use a little bit of foaming dry shampoo and then a spray bottle of water to reshape my curls, I find scrunching a few sprays of Davines in really helps the curls take their shape again without washing my hair all over again (the plight of squashed curls) and Davines helps to de-frizz on those days, but I still need a little bit of mousse. (I also live on the East Coast in a fairly humid climate so if you live out West in the US then you might not have the same problem!) Anyway this is the most thorough description I could write out, because the reviews on here weren't helping me. I hope this helps someone!! Oh and a lot of people are complaining about the scent, I really like it. It's kind of earthy, floral and maybe even somehow a touch masculine - maybe because of how strong the scent is. I really happen to like the scent, though. But overall, this product allows a moisturizing, natural softness to my hair without the crunchiness of some other curl products!

Over to my wife for this review as the days when I had flowing locks down my back headbanging to heavy metal bands is perhaps long gone. The music isn't but sticking with a grade one grey job doesn't require much in the way of care. I could probably deal with my requirements with Persil. However, the Household CEO being of the fairer sex and still with a full head of expensively maintained hair is an expert and thus over to her for this review. I started using this product after purchasing it initially from my hair salon, obviously with salons being closed during lockdown a repeat purchase wasn't possible so I was pleased to see I could buy this from Amazon. The milk is in a pump spray bottle (I have, just below shoulder length, straight hair) and I only need a couple of spritz on each side of my hair before blow drying to leave it feeling soft and frizz free without any weight. This product lasts all day and even on damp days my hair stays looking well groomed. The smell is lovely and once again remains throughout the day. I have also used this on my granddaughter's hair, she has lovely curly hair and this milk holds and keeps her curls looking as beautiful as she is. Although this is quite expensive, it lasts! I wash my hair every day and this bottle will last me at least 3 months and I haven't found anything with such a lovely fragrance or that keeps my hair looking and feeling so nice. So, there you go. It seems that the more streamlined of us love this product.

This is a MUST buy!

I have been using this product for around 2 years after it was recommended to me by my hairdresser. I’m so glad I found it. It is honestly a miracle worker. I use it in conjunction with Olaplex. I have wavy, mid length, afro Caribbean hair. I find that this product helps keep my hair frizz free, shiny and soft. If I don’t use it before blow drying, I really realise the difference, my hair instantly becomes frizzy with the slightest moisture. I use this on wet hair for best results, it can be used on dry hair but it does leave a sheen. It’s also a heat protector. I find the product itself light weight and I used 12 pumps on my hair, it’s so light that it is easy to get carried away whilst spraying. Any more than 12 for me I think may cause a slightly oily finish and any less doesn’t give me the right results. If you have oil prone or fine hair I would recommend using less to start with and adjusting it with an extra spray each time, to find out what is the ideal for you. It smells incredible, it’s a subtle scent. Be sure to shake it before use. I didn’t do this on my first bottle and was left with an almost cream that wouldn’t spray out the bottle toward the end. I absolutely would recommend this product and will be buying again.

No more conditioning required with this

Waited a while to review this item but been using for a few months now. Completely stopped using conditioner and use this after washing hair, towel dry and spray in before blow drying. Only need 3 sprays on fine but lots of hair just below shoulder length. Yes it has an odd smell as you spray it but that goes within seconds. Makes my hair have zero static and less tangles even if it is windy. Brushes much easier than previously with a subtle shine in any kind of light.

The smell is devine. Excellent for hydrating dry unmanageable split ends.

Delivery was prompt. Excellent value for money Bottle quite small and fits nicely in which ever hand you use to spray the hair. It will hydrate your hair without leaving any gunge or sticky residue. I will recommend this to my friends and family, male and female. Oh my the scent/smell is absolutely devine and gawjuss. I sometimes spray a little on my hands after using hand moisturiser that has little or no smell. All the best.

It works for dry, frizzy hair!

I was suffering from dry, frizzy hair but this has totally helped. It's got rid of the frizz. I love it. Only wish it was bigger but hey it works for me. If you have dry, frizzy hair, just spray a little over your hair after you've washed it on wet hair. I even used it on dry hair. These are a keeps.
