This is a nice shower head, looks wise, and fixes all my oil bronze figures beautifully. I actually got this after replacing one of their smaller, champagne bronze showerheads that, while I would say, were slightly more powerful, build wise and price point wise, it was a little on the cheap side, and way to many nick and scratches accumulated too fast for such an expensive showerhead, so back it went because the paint job on those was really really sub par. This one is not cheap either, and I normally would have never paid so much for showerheads, but when you move out of the basic big box store colors, and want to give a bolder look, things get a little pricier, especially with Bronze. Down to Brass Tax. Two things I like immediately, the back part of the head that threads in is built a little better, and threads up all the way to tighten it, whereas with the smaller champagne Bronze showerhead, I could only get it halfway. It looks really nice with the Bronze Speakman shower arm and flange and they look like they were made to go together. Also, although for the price point, it feels a little too plasticy, there is a simplicity to it that another reviewer mentioned that is appealing. If you are not looking for bells and whistles, but want something that makes someone go, "Hey, I have never seen that showerhead at my local big box store" Or, "I did find it but it will take three weeks for them to get it in" Then this is your showerhead and that is where to buy it. Here is where I am on the fence. For what you pay, and this may seem like a contradiction, you do expect maybe one or two extra bells or whistles. And you get none on this. It is a straight up showerhead with a large price point, that functions and feels like any other showerhead. I do not hear angels and a choir singing when I shower with this, but because the head swivels so nicely it does cover a nice range one your body, its flexibility is a positive. It does not feel stiff on rotation, and it is great for back washing as well because it can go pretty low to get behind you, which is nice. The diameter of the it covers falls a little short though, as although it has a large hood over it that does look quite nice, that's about it. The spray area is fairly small and a bit bunched, and I felt like they could have expanded it just a little for even an extra ring to give you a fuller experience. It just seems like Delta sells you products that are not cheap, but in return they do not give you everything you would like for what you are paying on the high end. Its almost as if someone in engineering is looking over someone's shoulder and is saying, ok, make it nice, but not too nice, because we want to make sure we make a nice profit off of what is probably an above average middle range shower head, but sell it at a super high end price. In the end, I believe you are paying for the design and the color more then the total bath experience. I think Delta needs to shift their focus back to putting one hundred percent into giving customers what they pay for and it feels like they are holding back. Also, I find that their flow restrictors are much harder to remove despite some nice people giving advice and how to do it, I simply cannot get it out. And sadly, no one seems to post videos on how to specifically remove one for these newer Delta showerheads, and it would be nice but I have looked and I get nothing. So either people are not sharing their secret, or they are incredibly hard to remove and no one can make a video without spending most of it cursing so I have left it how it is and it works fine and looks really nice. I am in a testing phase and am ordering a higher end Kholer in Bronze that has gotten rave reviews, and if that ones works as well as many say it does, this one would be perfect for the guest bathroom.
