Solid statue but...

solid with nice heft, but paint started pealing off after 1st summer. Plan to paint it in the spring. Overall I think worth the price.

Mixed review

I had to return one that was broken off at the base because the resin had been poured too thinly. They were very nice about sending a new one and this one was undamaged. I like it, but keep it in a very secure location indoors. I'm afraid it would break it it got knocked over. I'd be afraid to put it outside at all. I'm afraid any weathering would break down the resin and make it super fragile. It's hollow inside, which I didn't see referenced in the description. The general prices are high for this cross in relation to the item, but these are reproductions of an actual famous Celtic cross, so I guess you would expect to pay a little more. But, in the long run, it is beautifully detailed and I would considered buying another one for someone else.

Looks good

A little light but drilled a hole in the bottom and added sand. Happy with purchase.

It is nice however do not feel it will hold up well outside but unsure at this time, I thought perhaps it would have a plug in the bottom in order to fil with sand to give additional weight so would not blow over in strong storms. But it is nice and glad I got it at the price when on sale,

More like a halloween decoration

After reading mixed reviews, I ordered it and though it is beautifully sculpted, it is hollow and light-weight. I doubt it would hold up in the garden, and it comes with instructions about bringing inside for winter. I had hoped to use it as a Memorial Cross in my pet cemetery, but it's too chinsey (and small) . First time I've returned something from Design Tuscano - there stuff is usually really good quality.

It Works!

It works! it stays exactly where I put it every time - Amazing! I'm a professional photographer who likes to take photos of GOTH girls in Graveyard settings. I can take my Donegal Celtic High Irish Cross anywhere I want. It's not heavy and looks quite realistic.

I love the look of this but it wasn't long before bits started to peel off. I wouldn't buy it again.
