I was a bit timid placing an order for this statue due to some of the negative reviews that I read on here. I ordered the "medium" sized statue. It is built solid. I was concerned that it might be hollow, but it has a nice weight to it. It is definitely not hollow. The size is exactly as I expected. It was also listed in the description. I love the way it looks in the corner of my front yard. Essentially, there is a small area up there where grass won't grow due to the fact that there is not enough sunlight there. After experimenting with about every type of grass that is compatible with the area, I decided to put a statue there instead. Given the fact that we have a lot of black feral cats in the neighborhood, I thought this would be perfect. I'm also a fan of black cats. I have two that live in my house, and one of them surely thinks he is a panther. Having a statue of a black panther in my front yard is a good way to pay homage to these little critters that I love to have around.

very small. my cats are larger than this statue.....!!! very dissapointed.
Is too small for a display outdoor purpose. It was intended as a predator deterrent......???? It looks more like a toy. I wouldn't even dare buy the large size now. If I had known that I would not have bought it.

Absolutely gorgeous!
I love love LOVE it!!! Perfect in my little jungle that I created out front of my townhome. It looks real, and is a sturdy, heavy piece. I got the medium size and have no complaints about the price, for it's well worth it.

I've been surprised with this.
It's a little smaller than I actually pictured it. Yet, it's beautiful. I put it coming around a small bush onto my patio. I forgot to introduce the dogs. One freaked out. I thought he was hurt and then I saw him. He was really shook up and I felt awful. So, introduce your dogs to him. My son knew about him but stepped back when he saw him. Even a couple of times, I had a couple of very brief moments of what is that! I had to get use to him. I haven't had any guess out there yet. I plan to tell the repairmen working on my security camera next week.I don't think I would have paid that much for him if I had visually seen his size beforehand. Yet, since I have had him out in the yard the past few days, he is worth the money. A great add to your yard appearance.

Excellent and near life like
All I can say is excellent product, I think it scares off the odd neighbours cat that is until they get used to it. The cat not the neighbour. I also have mine in a similar position as the sales image i.e. on the shed roof. Also a good talking point for visitors.

Size IS important!
He is beautiful but a little small, probably small cat sized but well detailed. Would have loved him to be bigger!
