Comfort, support, and overall quality of the shoe......

The overall feel of the shoe. Where some of my fellow bowlers say they look wide, in which they do but the fit doesn't feel like they look. Very sturdy, but about as comfortable as Skechers...

I like this lightweight shoe a lot.

I just recently purchased these shoes when I saw someone in my bowling center wearing them. I liked the "croc" version of these shoes, but didn't like the color changing version. So I bought the "stealth" version of these shoes. The uppers are a very light stretchable nylon (or whatever material) that is vented, which means your foot feels good wearing them. The T.H.E 9 series is a shoe that the professional bowlers wear, and after wearing them, they are very comfortable, (I liked the raised heel) and the slide is just right for my game. I don't have a long slide, so the pads that came with the shoe worked just fine. I'm a league bowler, and see some guys wearing different versions of this shoe. I will get some plastic shoe trees and some "sneaker balls" because I will keep them in my bag, and don't want them to either stink, and I want them to keep form since the uppers are very lightweight. The only reason why I am giving them four stars is because when I received the shoes, I only received one shoe cover. I am trying to contact Dexter to rectify the situation, but haven't heard from them. I have some old shoe covers to protect them when I'm off the lanes, or to store them in my bag. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with my purchase, since I like quality shoes, and will pay the premium price for something I will use for a great deal of time. Dexter is a quality brand, and I know they will hold. My SST 8's held up for many years, and I was ready to purchase a new pair, I went with the T.H.E. 9's.

Great product with quick shipping

My friend’s bowling shoes were stolen and so these were purchased as a replacement for a previously discontinued type of shoe. He holds a 220+ average and doesn’t like to cheap out when it comes to purchasing good bowling equipment. These shoes came faster than the estimated shipping date (not bad considering they had to go across the US) and met all of his expectations for a bowling shoe. He really likes them. I would recommend this seller! They have a number of other bowling products, and there were some sweet discount cards/deals thrown in the package as an added bonus.

These are large shoes both internally and externally

Just received and getting familiar with these shoes. They are very wide (externally) and take some getting used to but give a good sense of stability. These shoes run very big and I would recommend going down 1/2 to 1 whole size down from your usual. I gave these 4 stars only because they are very different from my norm and I would prefer the BOA control be located in the front. I do think these are a quality shoes and would not discourage anyone from buying them.

Very nice, but…

I was bummed when it only came with 2 heels and 2 soles. I had the original sst6’s from the 2000’s and it came with all of the soles and heels they made. Not sure how long the “boa” string will last. I may have to look for a shoe with traditional laces.
