Perfect holiday napkins!
The overall look is creamy and gold metallic - even tho there's silver threads running through the fabric too. I paired it with a creamy wooden turkey and a bunch of the milk-glass glass pumpkin shapes on the matching runner for my Thanksgiving table. The napkins are surprisingly face friendly - considering the metallic threads are by default, scratchy plastic, so an unexpected surprise that they're as soft as they are. I love the DII line, and have a variety of colors for the different seasons and holidays. These are a nice size, 20"x20" before washing. My other napkins in other colors shrunk a tiny bit, but whether 19" square or 20" square, they are a generous size in a lovely festive pattern. I wash on hot and dry on hot, so shrinkage is to be expected in my laundry room. If you want a crisp freshly starched look, try spreading them on a flat surface after pulling them from the washer. I spread them smooth with my hands (finger ironing my mom calls it), and make a neat stack (we're in CO so it's dry enough here to get away with this method). I flip the stack a few hours later, and by the next morning I have a stack of crisp and smooth napkins. If you're really wanting perfection, you could iron them at this point, but it'd be hard to tell the difference. The dryer is hit or miss. Sometimes they come out great, and other times you get the wadded hemlines that are really annoying to iron out. I'm too lazy to pull out the ironing board, so I just mist them and finger iron them, and by the time I set the table they're good to go. In spite of my lazy streak, I am picky about my napkins, and the DII line has so far been very impressive in it's quality of heavy weight cotton napkins and table runners.

So beautiful and great quality for the money!
I was skeptical about the quality of this table runner being that it was a decent length but only around $15. Also couldn't really see the detail too well but I took a chance and was so glad I did! I was so surprised at how beautiful it is and the snowflake design does not look cheap at all. It's slightly muted in gold and silver and it honestly looks like I paid much more. I also love the thickness of the fabric and there were few wrinkles that came out easily with the steam iron (mainly just the folds from packaging). Very happy with this purchase!
