Great smoker but arrived pretty damaged

This is a GREAT smoker and deserves 5 stars. However, it was delivered in pretty tore up packaging and there was a huge dent and on top of the actual smoker. Haven't heard from the seller, as I'm sure this issue occurred with the shipping/delivery. It looks to have been dropped. We will try to pound the dent out, but other than that, this is a beautiful smoker and great value for your money.

I need a bigger one

I wanted the Niger one for my smoker.. I got a small one. When I made the order it’s no size to chose from so I thought it was one size fit all..

My stepdad loves it!

I got this as a Christmas present, and I'm glad I did! My stepdad, who has never used a smoker before, always wanted one. I've never smoked anything either, so I can't really comment on things like water resistance, durability and warmth (the three sub-categories I was asked to rate, which I gave 5 stars just cuz). But I will say this: the smoker made one heck of a good pulled pork sandwich! He can't wait to use it again, and I can't wait to see what else he can do with it!

Works but is time consuming.

I have used it several times now and really have a hard time getting it to stay hot. I have to keep feeding charcoal into it to raise the temperature. It’s takes forever to smoke anything and it takes a lot of charcoal. The flavors are good but I think I would by a more automated one if I were to buy another smoker. This one demands a ton of attention to do it right.

Waterproof and Durable Material

This smoker cover is made of a thick, waterproof rubbery material (like the rain slickers a fishing boat captain would wear) and seems more than up to the task of protecting my smoker. Only time will tell how long it will last but I got 2 years out of my previous one which felt like a very heavy, water resistant bag. This one feels waterproof. So far, I am very pleased. If this review aided your decision making process in any way, please give it a “helpful” vote.

It will take one person 2 or 3 to put it together.

Had some holes that didn't line up and smoke leakage around the doors. Other than that we like it.

Fit well, took 7 months for delivery

Took forever to come... Waited 7 months for it, ordered it saying it would be here in a short amount of time. Kept waiting as I couldnt find any in stores. By the time it came I was able to make sure it fits and thats about all as it was too late in the season to keep using my smoker in the cold

Lots of space for multiple cuts

Easy assembly. Only problem I could find so far is that the main door lets a lot of smoke out. Easily solved by installing a high heat resistant gasket (available from Amazon). This unit is for experienced smokers. It is not a set and forget smoker. Needs to be checked every 10-15 to maintain consistent temperature. So make sure you have lots of beer on hand for long cooking cuts like pork shoulder and brisket.

You will love this thing!

At first I thought don’t really need this thing. Now I think how could I have ever thought that. Not only will it perfectly smoke any and everything you put in it, but it will also it has a temperature gauge and will go to 350 degrees or more. What does that mean? It means you also have an oven! Pie time I say.
