Several Switches DOA

Seven switches were installed and worked as expected; however, three were DOA. Unfortunately, this caused me to waste a great deal of time troubleshooting. I was replacing a group of 3-way and 4-way switches and was losing my mind trying to figure out why no matter how I wired things (and rewired things), there was always a problem. I acknowledge that had I been more experienced with electrical, I may have known to test the switch sooner. Anyway, lesson learned. That said, I am basing my review on the fact that three of the ten were DOA, and to return, Amazon wanted me to send back all of the switches. I used up all my allotted time troubleshooting the switch; I don't have the time to uninstall and send back the good ones.

Easy install and work as advertised

Granted, I have not been able to test out how well they work yet as I am waiting for the power company to install poles and a power line to our property, but these switches installed very easily. All of the screws were easily accessible. I used these for a three way switch in a triple gang box, and so the fact that they were easy to install was a real plus with how many wires I had to fit into one space.

Shipped fast ! Quality seems good, hate having to buy switches made in China, but when you have a deadline on a job and American companies can’t keep shelves stocked. Crazy times we are living in

Not all work.

I purchased a box of 10 switches. Out of that box 9 worked. One of the nine switches did not work, right out of the box.

They Work & Durable

Item Originally purchased from Box Mart USA. They didn't last but a few months. These items should be bunded with Wego's. I know give me the negative feedback for that one :-). Youtube, about a dozen videos, gave me that idea. Lastly, safety, please. Be sure your breaker is off. I am just throwing that in. I am disabled and my hands freeze up. So you get the speil on safety and Wego. Anyone can do it. Lastly, a freebie for Amazon add additional purchase, wireless volt detector. Good job to Amazon for getting the product at the house on time. Cheers Electricians Remarks Trump Any Comments Made.
