Good for users that need glasses to see.

The Ergodyne brand Over the Glasses safety goggles are are very useful for glasses wearers that need eye protection and be able to see too. The goggles have a hard outer lens that come in clear or smoked color. The lens is scratch resistant and anti-fogging and offers a tight seal around your face with a soft rubber seal around the goggles. Looking at the googles they look very well made and are designed very nice with the color usage and the darkened lens. The manufacturing could be a bit better though since I noticed that the lens have an overspray of the protective coating that accumulated and dripped down the edges of the lens. It's not really a big deal and it doesn't affect the main portion of where you look out from but sometimes the quality control speaks volumes about your product. I tried on the goggles with my glasses on my face and found out that it is very difficult to get the placement of the glasses into the goggles correctly. Instead I ended up putting my glasses into the goggles first and then over my face. There are small cutout slits in the rubber seal to accommodate your glasses frame arms so they don't pinch your face. Having your glasses and goggles on at the same time takes a bit getting used to, it's like getting new glasses and you might end up with a slight headache. I found the goggles to be a bit tight at first but adjusting the band helped a bit. I still have to adjust some more as my face gets used to the weight and pressure the goggles and glasses put on my face. Overall I think this is a good product and certainly anything to enhance safety is good and allows you to see is even better.

Bulky but functional

These worked well for me to wear over my glasses while working. The tinting was a nice touch and they were very comfortable! My only complaint is that they are a little bit bulky, but that's to be expected for any goggles that fit over glasses.

Bulky but effective

When wearing these over glasses, they may pinch the stems against your head. Be aware of that, but it also can't be helped. If you're looking for protection which basically encloses your eyes completely, these will do the job. Goggles are rather extreme compared to glasses, of course, and they're so helpful for the right applications. Your eyes will be very well protected with these, and you have lots of room behind them for most glasses. These are also made for at least partial disassembly, making it easier to clean and inspect them, to replace the strap if ever needed, and for whatever other purpose that may help.

Nice safety goggles

I got these as a spare par to keep in my range bag - but these are better than my normal ones. These fit well over my existing glasses - which as I am unable to see well without them - these goggles fitting over my pair really help it stand out better than what I usually use. They were comfortable to wear and are not too hot over the face. Recommended!

How many eyes can we afford to lose?

Over the years there have been too many near mishaps threatening the safety of my eyes. So years ago I got serious about using eye protection no matter how trivial or brief the task appeared. I resolved to be safe rather than sorry. In this quest I discovered Ergodyne. I own selections from their full array of products and would rave about any one of them. Their slogan is "tenacious" which describes the performance. Unrelentlessly up for the task without fail. These glasses can be trusted to do as promised, protection for the eyes from any and all visual damage. Whether it is flying debris or intense UV from the sun, it spares our eyes threat, guaranteeing clear vision without fog forming. You'll appreciate how attractive these look on, the comfort of wearing them for extended periods, with or without prescription glasses underneath. I prefer them tinted, which is barely detectable looking through them, yet noticeably striking looking at them! Keep a pair stored ready in the garage, in the basement, in each vehicle, in your teen's room or dorm, in the kitchen...making it an easy convenient reach to put it on where you can anticipate protection being needed. The comfort is both mental and physical!

Comfortable, fit well, and I can wear over my glasses

I was concerned about how these would fit over my glasses - I didn't have to worry. The goggles are large enough to go on over the glasses without squeezing them or pushing them against my face. Also, the rubber gasket that provides a great seal around the goggles is specifically made to accommodate the side frames of glasses (with small slits at each side). Great!!! I found the goggles comfortable to wear, and I really like the tinting and UV protection. I tend to use these outside, mainly when working on firewood. Even though I have a helmet with ear protection and full face mesh shield, once in a while wood dust and small chips will make it around the face shield. These goggles do a fantastic job of protecting my eyes from these. These goggles do a good job of protecting your eyes, both from dust, chips, and liquids and also from the sun itself. They provide good value, and I wouldn't hesitate to order another pair.

Comfortable outdoor protection for your eyes

I wasn’t sure how these would fit my gigantic head (7 7/8) but the elastic strap is pretty comfortable around my head. These lenses are tinted so they are great for outdoors in the sun or whatever situation where it is is bright. It’s tinted pretty significantly so I wouldn’t wear these indoors if you’re doing critical work. The gasket around the frame that pushes against your face was also comfortable and there are vents, so my testing it wearing around did not exhibit any fog. That said, it’s not hot outside right now and I wasn’t hot either. I think it’ll hold up well with the vents. The lenses are anti-scratch too, but I didn’t test that. Because these are vented, these are not good for protection against liquids. They’re not heavy and is sturdy and feels well made. They don’t feel cheap!
