Solid & Stylish Paper Holder

The Franklin Brass Satin Gold Toilet Paper Holder is a solid and stylish toilet paper holder that will add a sophisticated look to any bathroom. The holder itself is fairly heavy and has some heft. The arm bar can be adjusted to the angle you want and stays firmly in place. Installation is the one negative. The overall process is not difficult to perform but there is some trial and error. When affixing the clip that the holder hangs on you can't secure it tightly to the wall because the holder won't hang. After several frustrating tries I loosened the clip and the holder was able to hang. The other issue is that the screw you have to tighten to secure the holder to the wall is tiny. You get a thin allen wrench that unless you have super small fingers is hard to handle. It takes an eternity of short twists to get the screw tightened. Other than that, the holder looks great and is stylish and sturdy.

Heavy duty, almost perfect

This is nice and heavy-real hardware. Detailed, professional instruction page with pictures. Nice, brass/gold color with an ever so slight scratch on the holder pin. Exactly two (way too long) screws hold the small, base piece on, which the entire, one piece apparatus slides over. I don't have much in the way of a drill, so I hand screw everything possible, and screws half or a third as long as ones provided would be adequate for the base piece. The final, miniscule screw on the bottom of the apparatus which locks it on the base with the provided, and equally miniscule allen wrench can be a real bear to cap and turn (with big, man hands). Otherwise, a very basic installation, and attractive, quality product.

good looking and solid made!

I really like this design for a clean modern look and well made with substantial weight. Comes with all installing hardware and easy to understand instructions, Love the matte gold color but giving it a 4 strs because came with a slight smile chip on paint. Not a big deal for the price and the paper roll with cover it. I especially like this for the larger paper roll sizes.

Solid Gold-Like Elegance Without Real Gold Price

I love the heavy metal feel and how it adds elegance to our guest bathroom. The Satin Gold description is perfect because it really looks like gorgeous solid gold. The installation hardware is standard; however, I replaced the two 1 1/2" long screws that came with it, with 5/8", to avoid injury from protruding screws under our sink. Once a bracket is installed with two screws, it requires tightening a small allen bolt with a small included allen wrench. Patience is required because space required to work with the little wrench is very limited. Once, you're done, though, you'll probably stand back like I did and be amazed at how a Satin Gold toilet paper holder can classy-up a bathroom.

Looks Great

My wife recently wanted her bathroom remodeled in the color scheme of white with gold fixtures. This was easy to install and looks great in her new bathroom. It secures nicely to the wall.

High quality toilet paper holder

The toilet paper holder is very well made and is feeling solid. The gold is a very true gold color which matches my faucet and other components of the bathroom. I love how I never need to deal with a spring again to change the toilet paper, now it's just popping the toilet paper in and out.
