Quality leash - for BIG dogs!

This leash is super nice and great quality. However, it is definitely for a larger dog/puppy. I have a 25 lb dog and I feel it is a bit over-kill for my own dog. The latch is great quality but a bit heavy. I know I know, it's made well and that's why it's heavy. The leash is also a bit wider than I would have liked it. I purchased the matching collar because I really liked the reviews and the reflective stitching is a nice feature and perfect for walking at night. I only wish the leash was a bit narrower to match the collar. I'm not really complaining about the quality at all, it's just what I'd like to see or have. Just my 2 cents. I recommend this leash 100%. It's strong!!!!

Great value, would recommend

This is an awesome leash, it's comfortable to hold and the strap and hardware is high quality. It is reflective which is a must for me on night walks. This is my 3rd Franklin pet supply leash and their quality never disappoints, especially when compared to the higher cost pet store offerings. The hardware and strap is pretty heavy so I wouldn't recommend this for smaller dogs, but it is perfect for medium and large breeds.

Franklin 6' Dog Leash-Reflective Black

Two layers of webbing! Finally a sturdy, well made leash! Sixty pound pup can try to chew it without any damage detected! Highly recommend.

Very Sturdy

It is a great lease for a larger dog. I have a 20lb Bichon, so it's a bit of overkill, but it is a quality product. It's longer than the usual 4' leash, which is what I was looking to buy. I'd love to have one half the width.

Updated 11/4/2020: I originally left a one star review for this product. I had received a leash with a broken clasp. The company sent a replacement and the leash is wonderful. It is heavy duty and very reflective. Hope it lasts!

Great leash!

This is a great sturdy leash. We returned it due to my mid-measure, but if I were a little taller, it would have been perfect. Definitely recommend! There are some reflective threads woven in for night walking, which is awesome

Comfortable and Stable!

The handle interior is very comfortable - the main reason I bought it! The reflective strips look nice at night (it’s not like, blinding, but every little bit helps). You can tell it’s well made and for half the price of Ruff-Wear. (A GREAT brand, which I fully recommend their harness, btw). You won’t be disappointed with this purchase.

Awesome Leash

I replaced my dogs old leash which had started to fray with the Franklin Pet Supply Nylon Dog Leash. The Franklin leash was lighter but just as strong as the old. I like the padded handle. It is very comfortable to hold onto. The reflective material within the leash is an added bonus and works well.

Good for bigger dogs

This is very well made and sturdy. It's definitely better for a dog on the larger side (my dog is about 60lbs) owing to the weight of the lead and the clip.
