Pretty good with a few downsides

This is a really nice nursing pillow especially for newborns. There's a lot more support that other pillows (e.g. the Boppy pillow) There are a few downsides: 1. The fabric shows spills and spit up very easily 2. The waist strap is not removable. Personally, it's too much of a hassle to use the strap. I wish you could remove it or it could be stashed in the pillow somehow. 3. The buckle is really difficult to use. 4. I wouldn't use this with the inserts at night unless using a cradle hold. When baby is laying in the stiffer flat inserts they can easily roll off unless you have them in a cradle hold. So I wouldn't use it anytime I might accidentally fall asleep. I purchased one open box. It didn't come in the condition that was advertised so I returned that one and bought another one. There are some obvious style differences. The color of the fabric is totally different and the zippers are not the same. I'm not sure if one is just an older version of if one is a knockoff. The insides were both the same.

I don’t think I could nurse without it

My baby is only 6 days old, but I don’t think I could have gotten the hang of breast feeding if I didn’t have this pillow! I didn’t initially take it to the hospital with me and trying to learn how to breastfeed with the hospital pillows seemed impossible. My husband ran home and grabbed this for me and the first time I used it, I hated it. I was going to return it, but decided to use it when I met with the lactation consultant to see if maybe I was just doing it wrong. Once I got out of bed and sat down in a chair it made breastfeeding SOOOO much easier. It allowed me to get my daughter to the perfect height and free a hand to drink or eat a snack while breastfeeding. I am 5’7” and it’s the perfect height for me. I am also considered plus size (size 1x approximately 260lbs when I gave birth) and the strap fits around with a few inches to spare. I will say I don’t like using it while laying in bed; I cannot seem to get the right angle for the perfect latch, but that might just be me. My doula, lactation consultant and several nurses were extremely impressed by this pillow. 10/10 would recommend!

Not best for woman with small/short torsos

Pillow is made of great quality and it is adjustable by the changing up of the stacking pillows/platforms inside. It does take the weight of the baby off your shoulders/neck. However being 5’1, this pillow even stacked as suggested for “smaller moms”.. is still really bulky. It doesn’t sit flat in your lap, the bottom soft pillow (bulky part) causes the pillow to tilt into the Mom. Causing baby to roll into the breast. The back support that slides in the locking strap keeps falling off when trying to clip it around you. The best position I have found using this pillow is sitting at the edge of your seat, otherwise I have to scoot all the way back into the couch/chair, use more pillows to assist with sitting directly up straight. It takes a lot to get comfortable.

Great but...

I never use it. Takes too long to set up. When baby is hungry baby is hungry. No need to waste time. I've got the hang of it and can feed my baby while standing. If you're thinking about buying this, really question whether you need this, or if you think you need it because you're overpreparing. Mine just takes up space.

A necessity!

I'm 10 months postpartum and literally use this every day still. I even bought a 2nd one so I don't have to keep taking the same one up and down the stairs. At first, I didn't love it. I think that's because I was mostly nursing sitting up in bed. Once I started spending more of my time nursing while sitting, this came in super handy. It's the perfect height. I take out the extra padding and just use the main one. I love that it has a strap, so you don't have to keep messing with it. And I love that it's nice and wide. My 10 month old still fits on it. I mean he kind of hangs off, but he doesn't look or act uncomfortable. The only thing I don't love is the little pouch thing for the heating pads. There's no way to secure it to the strap, so it just falls off. I always forget it exists and I've never used it with a heating pad.

Bulky

If you are petite like me (5’2”) this generally puts babe too high up to nurse. I honestly ended up using it as a rather comfortable backrest and pillows to support babe when feeding.

Best nursing pillow ever

This pillow is great support for newborn to at least 1 year old. It has a nice flat top with a little bit of a bowl shape to cradle the baby at breast height. I've had mine for several years and it maintains it's volume even when my husband lays on it and squishes it. The strap keeps the pillow to your body which is great bc all the other nursing pillows migrate away as the baby wiggles around. Nice pockets to keep your phone or nursing supplies. Love love love this pillow.

El mejor cojín de Lactancia!!!

Me encanta!! Súper útil. Es el tercer cojín que compro porque los dos pasados no eran tan funcionales ni cómodos como lo es este. Cuando tenga que hacer un regalo a una embarazada… este será mi mejor regalo!! La súper recomiendo!

Muy bueno, lo debí comprar desde el inicio.

Me gustó mucho ya que al inicio de la lactancia use otras almohadas y se me movían mucho, con esta fue mucho más cómodo y facil por qué gracias al cinturón se quedaba mas fija y me ayudó bastante para acomodarme mejor con mi bebé.
