Helps heal an injured ligament

My wife missed a step and injured her ankle ligaments. She had to wear a stiff boot to hold her ankle in place while it healed. After the swelling went down, she really wanted to get out of that boot. This ankle support provides some stiffness to her joint, to keep her ankle components from moving very much while they heal, so she can walk without the stiff boot.

Too tight

It was difficult to put on and by the end of the day, my leg was a bit swollen. I should've ordered a large instead of a medium but, at the time, large was not available. I ordered a different brand that came with 2 ankle supports for less than $20.

What size should I order?

This is a great ankle support. Based on other reviews I ordered a medium even though my measurement called for a small. BUT the medium was actually too large so I then ordered a small and I love it. My ankle was so bad I could hardly walk. Doing fine now with this support. So do not listen to the reviews take measurement and go by that for the proper size.

A good ankle bandage

I wear this every day to prevent my ankle from moving too much and causing a tendon to stretch. It is comfortable and washes well.

The quality is unmatched by any other brand in my opinion.

Just the best!!! If you need to wear every day for more then 3 hours, then get a size that is more loose...so you have the support for the ankle and compression. If you get one that is too tight 3 hours is about what you will be able to handle because then you might start swelling by the toes and after 3 hours you will feel the thing digging into you and may swell up by the toes and up on top...I have small, medium and large sizes..so for the night if the ankles need it I wear the small (after 3-4 hrs I have to take them off for reason stated previously...during the day I may wear the medium for support and compression...for just support and no compression I wear the large. I got these because I walk 4 times a week for 2 hours and sometimes when I do more activities and walk then my footsies let me know. I am a person who is medium in clothing, but too much salt, water and too much walking I do need these...I had others and I think this brand is the best one. Also you can wash and dry in dryer and they last and last and last..I had my first pair since 2012 I think-given by a podiatrist-this is why I purchased these. Also keep in mind these are not like regular socks so your shoe needs to be bigger by half a size to have these fit comfortably....but maybe not all shoes, maybe it's just mine....mine are narrow. Well good luck...I recommend these to everyone on Amazon and off line. :) Thank you.

Runs small

I measured my foot as suggested and got medium. The seam around the heel dug into my foot back & bottom causing more pain & if I had continued to use it would added to the injury.

Great Support

I wasn't too sure about sizing so opted for the small as I am a UK size 5 - it's a little tight but not too restrictive that it cuts off blood supply. I have a weak a ankle and needed to wear a support rather than a brace for sports and choose this because it doesn't have a heel. I know a few reviews didn't like this feature, but if you have bare feet on a dance/sprung wooden floor, you need to be able to have some grip and this does the job very well. It supports your ankle and allows your feet to still grip the floor. I have tried supports with heels and they in my opinion, are a little dangerous if you are doing sports in bare feet on floors. This does provide quite a bit of support, but I think some of that is down to it being a little tight - if I had gone for the medium, I have a feeling that it would have felt a little too loose and not quite as supportive. This is a great colour as it isn't too obvious that you have it on. It wicks quite well and washes well. I did snip off the two bits of excess elastic as they rubbed under my foot - I would advise you do the same. I wear this for an hour at a time and it's comfortable, but I'm sure if needed, you could wear this all day. I would recommend this product.

A very good fit. I take a size 8 Skechers trainer and size 7- 7.5 shoe. Very good support. Not used it long enough to comment on the effect though.

FUTURO 76581EN Small Comfort Lift Ankle Support The product. This is a knitted material ankle support. Use. This is used to support weak or damaged ankle joints to help reduce pain and swelling. It is worn under a sock and should not interfere with shoe fit. My history. I have broken one of my ankles twice, once in a car accident and another time coming off my bike (I know I must be more careful). I have had several operations on it and as I have grown older it has become weaker and slightly deformed. Effectiveness. I have been using Futuro supports for years and have always found them excellent. I have tried many others to, including the Neoprene ones and the semi solid plastic types. The Futuro is simply the best for support that does not get in the way. It can be worn with most shoes or boots and never slips or causes me any discomfort. Overall. These are a cheap and effective way of supporting weak a ankles(s). They work very well in practice and last well too. Highly recommended.
