Finally Fixed to hold

The reviews are accurate…it doesn’t hold After trying everything I finally used epoxy to stabilize it. Now it stands and holds the way it should.

Does not screw in to the base

Beautiful piece but pole would not screw to the base. Will return. No instructions is fine since you can figure out how each of the the 4 pieces screws in together. Don’t buy this unless you want to figure out how to screw in to the base.

Defective

This is the third Gatco towel rack of this style that I have ordered. The first two are great. This one's upright sections won't screw together: the diameter of one of the threaded sections is slightly too small to screw in and hold. I thought I'd gotten, and it set it up in the guest room, but now it's fallen apart and clearly just will not hold. I've tried using pipe thread tape, but that was no use. Very disappointed.

Beautiful, but flawed.

Absolutely loved the way this looked. Nice, heavy base. I was thrilled until I put it together. Pieces just screw together (So super simple), but the screw on the base would never tighten into the stand. I thought it was stripped out, but it almost seemed like the screw was too little. Tried over and over. One of the sections was scratched, but I liked it so much that I would have put up with the scratch if it would have stood upright and tight. Never got it to tighten enough to hold a towel. Paid too much to not even get it to go together once.

The threads were horrible and would not go together well. Lasted a week.

Very poorly made, not worth the money. Threads did not last. Fell apart after a week.

Horrible!

Don't buy this item, listen to the other reviews as well! Poor build, worked for two weeks then fell over- my husband even tried to use thread tape to keep it upright and it wouldn't stay. Tried to contact seller and was ignored. Bought another towel holder for 50 dollars and it's light years better. Stay away!

The towel holder wobbles

Used the floor standing for almost 2 months and now the floor towel holder wobbles. It looks like the grooves that attaches the stem to the base is poorly designed and now is stripped. Do not recommend and because I purchased this over 8 weeks ago, it can no longer be returned. Do not buy!
